Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The house Negro is upset at his masters.

Have you walked around California recently? I don't mean taking the cable car up Powell Street or strolling through Wilshire Boulevard. Because shantytowns have already sprung up.
yeah I live near a sizeable one, not in CA but west coast

the amount of services pouring into those places is unreal. they get garbage pickup, they get portapotties, they get food, they get clothes. they're essentially giant outdoor DIY suicide camps. the state will arrange things so every penny you make is available for your drug of choice and you can sit in there and kill yourself slowly enough that everyone pretend that's not what you're doing.

look at the age and sex distribution in a real shantytown in a poor country. There are more women than men and there are kids. people work hard, no one is giving them anything. they try to get out.

even in the worst parts of CA if you have kids you will get into housing pretty fast and if you can't keep the housing because of your drug use or whatever, the state will take your kids. you will occasionally see kids in the tent cities on the west coast but they don't stay. ( a lot of the people claiming to be homeless with kids also are gypsies.)

Memorial service in honor of Colin Powell set for Nov. 5

A memorial service for Colin L. Powell, the retired Army general and former secretary of state who died on Monday, will be held Nov. 5 at Washington National Cathedral, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

“There will be very limited seating and it will be by invitation only,” Peggy Cifrino said in an emailed statement.

Powell died of complications from COVID-19 at age 84. He had been vaccinated, but his family said his immune system had been compromised by multiple myeloma, a blood cancer for which he had been undergoing treatment.

The retired Army general was widely praised as a pathbreaker, having been the first Black person to serve as U.S. secretary of state and as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He spent 35 years in uniform, and the story of his rise to prominence as a soldier and a diplomat was a historic example to minorities.

He joined President George W. Bush’s administration in 2001 as secretary of state. Powell’s tenure was marred by his February 2003 U.N. address in which he cited faulty information to claim that Iraq’s Saddam Hussein had secretly stashed weapons of mass destruction. Such weapons never materialized, and though the Iraqi leader was removed, the war devolved into years of military and humanitarian losses.

No child of privilege, Powell often framed his biography as an American success story.

“Mine is the story of a black kid of no early promise from an immigrant family of limited means who was raised in the South Bronx,” he wrote in his 1995 autobiography, “My American Journey.”

It’s an experience he was fond of recalling later in his life. When he appeared at the United Nations, even during his Iraq speech, he often reminisced about his childhood in New York City, where he grew up the child of Jamaican immigrants and got one of his first jobs at the Pepsi-Cola bottling plant directly across the East River from the U.N. headquarters.

Powell’s path toward the military began at City College, where he discovered the ROTC. When he put on his first uniform, he wrote, “I liked what I saw.”

He joined the Army and in 1962 was one of more than 16,000 military advisers sent to South Vietnam by President John F. Kennedy. A series of promotions led to the Pentagon and assignment as a military assistant to Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger. He later became commander of the Army’s 5th Corps in Germany and was national security assistant to President Ronald Reagan.

During his term as Joint Chiefs chairman, which started in 1989, his approach to war became known as the Powell Doctrine, which held that the United States should only commit forces in a conflict if it has clear and achievable objectives with public support, sufficient firepower and a strategy for ending the war.

FFS, why are so many deceased politicians being given this kind of treatment all of the sudden? It's disgusting and obnoxious.

Times are hard at CNN. It is not a stretch at all to say that they are putting everything they can put right now into trying to save Biden's approval ratings, or at least his image. But it's not working, those damn poll numbers just ain't budging. Gallup's poll for the month released today has him at 42%, one percent lower than last month. We've already seen plenty of other polls suggesting that this number is accurate or actually lower.

What Lemon is getting frusturated about, in short, is that you can't spin the narrative for the president if he isn't fucking doing anything. You can't spin the narrative when the only thing happening in Congress is two Democrats blocking the rest of the party from accomplishing any legislative goals. Or rather, what I should say, you can try to spin the narrative but it's a waste of fucking time. The American people may not all be politically attuned, but they can sense there is a lot of low-hanging fruit that the Democrats are choosing not to pick.
Lemon is frustrated because nobody cares what he has to say.

Update on the Texas abortion case: as the Supreme Court previously indicated, they will be hearing arguments for both cases against it - one of them being filed by the Justice Department, the other by abortion providers - on November 1st. What they'll be determining is not the legality of the law, but if the federal government has the right to sue Texas and prevent the abortion law from being enforced. In the meantime the Court has decided it will not block the law... which is perhaps a preview of what decision they're going to make. Sotomayor dissented against that particular decision.

Biden's admin, meanwhile, is doing some saber-rattling warning that if the Court rules in favor of Texas “no decision of this Court is safe. States need not comply with, or even challenge, precedents with which they disagree. They may simply outlaw the exercise of whatever rights they disfavor,”.

This is also true.

I thought Don Lemon was Me Tooed? If he keeps acting this uppity towards his masters they might finally kick his ass out.
Funny you should mention that as I have noticed Dawn becoming more unhinged recently. I wonder if he is feeling a little pressure:

Second CNN Sex Scandal: Don Lemon Likely Headed to Court Over Sexually Charged Assault Accusation

By Brett Davis September 28, 2021 at 2:30pm

A lawsuit brought by bartender Dustin Hice alleging CNN anchor Don Lemon inappropriately touched him in a sexually charged assault more than three years ago is expected to make it to a courtroom early next year, according to a Fox News report.

It is the latest such headache for the network, as last week veteran television news producer Shelley Ross accused CNN host Chris Cuomo of sexually harassing her in 2005 when both worked for ABC News. The host of “Cuomo Prime Time” apologized at the time, according to Shelley, and reiterated his apology to The New York Times last week.

The assault and battery suit against Lemon, 55, who is openly gay, hasn’t made it before a judge due to a lengthy discovery process and the coronavirus pandemic, but Hice’s legal team told Fox News Digital it expects the suit to end up in court around January 2022.

Hice, 40, claims Lemon, anchor of “CNN Tonight,” rubbed his own genitals and then put his fingers into Hice’s face at Murf’s Backstreet Tavern in Sag Harbor, New York, in July 2018.

“At such time, Mr. Lemon, who was wearing a pair of shorts, sandals, and a t-shirt, put his hand down the front of his own shorts, and vigorously rubbed his genitalia, removed his hand and shoved his index and middle fingers into Plaintiff’s moustache under Plaintiff’s nose,” the complaint, filed in Suffolk County Court on Aug. 11, 2019, stated.

“Mr. Lemon intensely pushed his fingers against Plaintiff’s face under Plaintiff’s nose, forcing Plaintiff’s head to thrust backward as Defendant repeatedly asked Plaintiff ‘Do you like p**** or d***?’ While saying this, Mr. Lemon continued to shove his fingers into Plaintiff’s face with aggression and hostility.”

George Gounelas, Hice’s former boss, told Fox News last year he witnessed the incident, corroborating his onetime employee’s account of his encounter with Lemon.

“Dustin worked for me as a bartender [and] we went out after work one night. We were standing there and he said, ‘Hey, that’s Don Lemon,’” Gounelas said at the time.

After Lemon allegedly refused Hice’s attempt to get his attention and buy him a drink, Lemon approached Hice and Gounelas sometime later.

“Don Lemon has now come around the corner and is standing face to face with us. There is a beam, a pole, in the place. Don’s standing up against the pole, face to face with Dustin, I turn around and I’m standing right there between the two of them,” Gounelas said, noting the alleged incident occurred shortly after.

The complaint went on to note Hice stepped outside the bar after being “emotionally devasted by Mr. Lemon’s demeaning unprovoked and offensive assault. Plaintiff and Mr. Gounelas remained outside for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before Plaintiff was able to collect himself and return to Murf’s,” as the incident left Hice “shocked and humiliated.”

According to Hice, a proposed six-figure payment was offered by Lemon before talks broke down, resulting in the lodging of the formal complaint, the Daily Mail reported.

For his part, Lemon has been adamant he did nothing wrong.

On June 3, 2020, Lemon’s attorney, Caroline Polisi, wrote in a court document that her client is “often subjected to racist and homophobic harassment” and “strangers” often approach him in public, at “times intrusively and repeatedly,” as reported last year by Fox News.

She called Hice’s allegations “speculative, hypothetical, unsupported by any reasonably methodology” and “not cognizable as a matter of law.”

“The plaintiff in this lawsuit has previously displayed a pattern of contempt for CNN on his social media accounts,” a CNN spokesperson told Mediaite in 2019.

“This claim follows his unsuccessful threats and demands for an exorbitant amount of money from Don Lemon. Don categorically denies these claims and this matter does not merit any further comment at this time.”

An Instagram post from January 2017 allegedly posted by Hice and obtained by the news website showed him posing in front of CNN’s Atlanta headquarters with the caption, “touring the #CNN center today … or as #Trump would say ‘the home of Fake News’ lol.”

The allegations against Lemon and Cuomo follow on the heels of CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin returning to the network this summer, eight months after being suspended for exposing himself during a Zoom call with colleagues at The New Yorker, where he also worked.

The magazine fired him over the incident.
CNN sure likes to hire people with questionable morals and ethics and then keep them employed regardless of how insane they become, how much sexual misconduct they commit, or if they threaten to kill someone in a bar because they were called Fredo.

I think it's obvious why they are doing it with Powell. Gotta get dem woke points.

They are also doing it because he flipped against Trump in his last years. If he spoke in favor of Trump, this would not be happening.

Totally useless. Same as normal insider trading laws. Useless.

It also requires advance notice and approval of any transactions, and stipulates investments be held for at least a year.

Oh yeah, exactly identical to insider trading laws.

For those not in the know, insiders are required to set up a schedule for selling shares ahead of time and disclose the schedule. This allegedly prevents them from profiting on insider information because the sales are pre-scheduled.

Except all they do is invert the con--if you know you have a sale coming up on Friday, just time the release of good news / delay bad news to fit the schedule.

Their obsession with that managed decline faggotry is insane.

The reason the 2030 date keeps coming up as why they wanted it done by then is self-evidently that it was what the World Economic Forum wanted, but it's really strange that they thought they'd be able to pull that off without consequence, roadblocks, or delays of some sort. No plan, as the old saying goes, survives contact with the enemy, and the equally true saying of "if you want god to laugh, tell him your plans" also applies.
the people really running things are completely insulated from the American heartland and from regular Americans

They demand all new cars sold in California be ZERO emissions, in a state that already has rolling electricity shortages, and when you mention that poor and middle class Americans won't be able to afford these cars, they scream CLIMATE CHANGE DENIER!!!

It's not that they don't know about the flaws in their ideas; it's that they don't care.

that's true but I was actually talking about something different, I mean that the people above those people, people with very low public profiles and absolustely mind-numbing wealth and influence, literally have no contact at all whatsoever with regular Americans. people throw around the word "globalist" and it's become kind of meaningless but it refers to a real thing and heartland America, heritage America, whatever you want to call it, is totally and completely excluded from it.

You do realize I was not referring to places like the parking lot in SF's the Tenderloin which is nothing more than a gussied up concentration camp for tranny heroin shoplifters, right?

If you think every border hopper is living in those or flats that charge a Mexican peasant's lifetime wages every month I believe you are being sheltered from the underclass, especially on the West Coast.

Did Biden or one of his lackeys actually say this? If so then it's Civil War Electric Boogaloo 2; Haunted Tank is real version
