I am sorry but i never thought of giving Chibi advice he would not try to take to heart. That speaks layers of Reimu followers.
While it's true that "clap for everybody, especially if they suck" is an unspoken rule of karaoke, it's entirely possible to get genuinely enthusiastic applause from a crowd when you're tragically awful if you seem like you were genuinely trying. And it's not altruistic either; people think it's funny and want you to keep trying so they can laugh at you with their friends and say to themselves "hey, at least I don't sound like that guy." Think "William Hung" of American Idol fame. Nobody put him on the air or kept him in the competition so long because they thought he sounded good.
If you trust your GP, a direct referral from him greatly improves your chances (at least of getting a shrink that isn't just a pill pusher or who cares more about collecting your fee than helping you get better). Seeing a psychologist (or just a licensed therapist) instead of a psychiatrist eliminates the pill pusher aspect since they can't prescribe medicine, and if they genuinely believe you need to be medicated, all they can do is refer you to a psychiatrist with a recommendation. It's slower but it involves more people in the decision-making process before it starts raining pills. Assuming you don't get a psychiatrist with an entire closet filled with samples (those mean the manufacturers are paying him kickbacks), you'll be pretty safe.
At the risk of a PL, I've been going through a bit of a religious revival lately, felt like I needed to extend an olive branch to someone I thought was redeemable. Yes, I know that's dumb. Yes, I know KF isn't the place to try that.
It's not just you. Even after everything we've seen I still sometimes find myself feeling optimistic about his future, that maybe he'll somehow find a way to get his life back on track and surround himself with people who will help him. Then I remember he's a 30 year old man and has been at this for over 10 years at this point and understands his situation enough to fake bouts self awareness for a few days to get asspats from people he considers his friends, although one day he'll HAVE to accept that he doesn't have the time on this earth to chase his pipe dream of becoming a famous streamer and move on with his life.
Once he is on the street he will continue to hook his laptop in the public libraries and free hotspots trying to pursue his streaming career and if you hope he will do anything to learn the error of his ways you are more delusional then him.
With a bit of vocal training he could probably do some 3 Inches of Blood covers.

Tbh, I find his shirt worse than the actual performance. Never understood the appeal of video game shirts. But the singing is just kinda average.
Even a 30 year old depressed NEET with no friends or talents can turn his life around. It takes a lot of work and acknowledging uncomfortable truths about yourself, but it's possible. Mild PL I knew a guy in that exact situation who said "fuck it", cut out his comfort habits, started studying STEM of all things and eventually landed a job in his chosen field.
