Looks like headshots are coming back to III.

Players have the ability to shoot or run over civilians, though such action results in police pursuit, as players' wanted level increases. Combat can be frenetic at times, highlighted by gunfire, explosions, cries of pain, and blood-pooling effects. Some weapon attacks result in decapitation and blood splatter; one mission prompts players to kill gang members by decapitating them via a sniper rifle.

Decapitation from III was removed initially because of 9/11 and subsequent releases because of the skeleton changes from Vice City onward.

In his trailer he had a confederate flag poster that said "heritage, not hate" so he wasn't trying to be racist and it's a game set in 1986, long before the modern controversy, but you can't expect retards to understand any nuance.

I know Lazlow is also gone, so the Rockstar we knew is no more, they had a pretty good run all things considered but it sucks that it didn't even last until GTAIII turned 20, it also sucks that we didn't get one last GTA with them nor a sequel to Bully.

IIRC, Phil's shirt was changed to a skull shirt in Vice City Stories, the same game that had a Rebel Flag-waving redneck gang and literally gay Nazi bikers.

Now, I could be wrong in remembering that, mind you. But I'd like to think they won't go too woke. Especially if they're mostly reusing the same dialogue and plotlines from the PS2 era but with new graphics and the shitty trigger driving controls from GTA IV and GTA V.

If a physical PS4 copy of this game goes on sale for $30 or $40, then maybe I'll get a copy of it if the gameplay is decent enough and they don't butcher the soundtrack too badly. Maybe.

I’m surprised how no one on this thread mentioned that in the trailer they also did a hip hop, trap style beat to a classical/opera song that was originally made for the Mafia in GTA III.
