Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Remember, James Bond got a big fancy medal from the USSR for keeping their primary R&D area going. Where else would they steal all their technology from?
He was awarded the Order of Lenin by the KGB for doing their dirty work unwittingly.

The evil plot in Goldeneye is to wipe out the London financial system with an EMP. The same plan that Fight Club had a few years later except the good guys are doing it.

How many innocent russian civilians did Bond kill so that the stock market wouldn't be disrupted? No wonder he drinks and screws around so much.

Russia's navy is very fun. Not to PL too much but I have heard some uh... second or third-hand some stories from a Russian marine, stories that would probably make @JosephStalin facepalm. One story always stuck to me though, in perfect memory: his ship needed to conduct a live-fire drill with a Moskit to figure out the source of a technical problem, but it was the early 90s so there were no spare Moskits in the entire fleet. What did the brass do? A fleet admiral ordered him and his unit to steal a Moskit from a corvette. He also added that the fleet admiral told them to do it "by force if necessary."
I was thinking about that, I respect the what the Russians were able to do and I guess they had to make do with what they had. It did lead to some really bad nuclear accidents on their subs (and elsewhere) and they really have suffered. I don't have any bad feelings towards them at all and I hope we can work together in the future since we have way more in common with Russia than not. I don't have any illusions about who JFK was but he really did the country, and the world, a solid when he told Le May and his hawks to get fucked and picked up the phone to talk to Khrushchev, and in turn Khrushchev came through. People speculate its because they were both veterans and knew that nukes ramped it up to an unsustainable level but I'm glad they talked; otherwise, this would be a way different place.

Putin declared that the USA has de facto been taken over by "Bolshevism". He compared the US policy to the KGB worship of Karl Marx. According to Putin, the same communism that plagued the USSR has basically metastasized and moved to the US in the present day.

This was during his speech at the annual Valdai International Discussion Club, Vladimir Putin declared the US current culture now makes it a "threat to the free world".

He noted that the social culture is nothing like what Martin Luther King described when he said that people should be judged for their character, not their skin, and also called out the LGBTQ hysteria, such as renaming women to "Menstruators" and chest feeders of "human milk".

Could you imagine that? A world where the US and Russia aren't enemies but are instead allies?

idk man, the last decade or so has really made me question if maybe we wouldn’t have been better off if we’d nuked each other back to the Stone Age in the 60’s.

What's the NG going to do in that situation? Force people to apply for jobs?
The solution to supply issue is simple: stop using California as the main port for 1, for 2 get California to suspend its retarded green policy which force trucks to have to have expensive shit because California needs to single handly save the earth for some dumbass reason, and for 3, drop the Covid restrictions & vaccine mandates. I think people are beyond dumb with this freedom shit, but if they want risk dropping dead than I say let them take the stupid risk and sometimes you have make compromises to fix shit.

The problem with that is that California is too big, you only really have three states to work with on the West Coast and all are liberal shitholes. The trade from Europe already goes to different ports. anything from India or China comes to the West Coast though. Lower trade with China, and you lower usage of the West Coast. The only other options are for that trade to go around South America which massively increases costs or through the Panama Canal, and the Panama Canal is strained as is.

The plan to break up California could use that as a selling point. "Make us five states, only one of us will be retarded about getting supplies in."

How can one man be so based?

Star Wars was 80's tech though - the Chinese and Russians now supposedly have satellite killers, and I'm pretty certain that in the late-Obama/early-Trump era, we were publishing news about keyhole precision space ballistics and cutting edge UAVs? If we haven't figured out how to load a satellite with tungsten US flagpoles to dump en masse on enemy population centers, we probably deserve to be barraged by cheap Chinese missiles

We haven't because tungsten is heavy as fuck. Might as well build ion cannon satellites. Just as much initial mass, no radioactive fallout, and reusable without needing to fly up more heavy-as-fuck rods.

too damn expensive. and tungsten is too heavy. In the cold war there were missiles that allowed F-15 to down satellites and the navy can use the SM-3 to shoot down low orbit targets. plus there is the the ground based interceptor of which the US has 50 on hand.

Spy sat USA-193 exploding after interception with a SM-3 fired from USS Lake erie
Actually the US had a plan for an anti ballistic missile system that involved putting thousands of tungsten rods in space and using them to intercept the missiles as they hit apogee and before they released their warheads. It even was modified to be able to hit “hypersonic” missiles. It was actually authorized by Congress and went into production in 1990 but was canceled in 1993. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone has dusted off the plans, especially with the improvements to targeting systems and reduction in launch costs (thank you Elon).

He highlights the definition of terms on August 26, 2021.

Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.
Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.
Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.
Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.
That had been their definition since at least May 16, 2018, according to PJ Media.

But then, come September 1, suddenly there was a big change.

Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.
Vaccine: A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.
Vaccination: The act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.
Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.

Why are they trying to back off of what the definitions used to be? Now they are talking about a vaccine stimulating the immune response but not to “produce immunity.” Now they’re saying a vaccination doesn’t produce immunity but will “produce protection.”

You know shit is fucked when they change the definition of "Vaccine immunity" to "Doesn't Fucking Work".
Agreed. This precedent has catastrophic implications. To disregard the universally accepted meaning of language and reshape it to facilitate a particular narrative is terrifying.

Edit: If people cannot use meaningful language to work out differences, the only next move is violence.

I swear I have seen some people I respect to the left of me devolve over time to where they just accept these thing. Oh, a word "actually" means such and such, well the internet says it now, looks like I'm right.

Or just playing blatant word games and acting like they are proving a point, when they used to be able to challenge ideas they disagree with directly and meaningfully.
