My daughter (she's younger then 12) now has Covid so I have a front row seat to how this effects kids. She had mild cough over the weekend, and then the worst day happened on 4th when symptoms really presented and we had to go get her tested. She threw up and felt bad for about 12 hours. Day 5 back to normal energy levels. No fever the entire time. I have to sit with her in quarantine for the next two weeks though. She is still sniffly and coughs on occasion but no changes in energy and appetite. Honestly the common cold hit her much harder two years ago.
I had a sneaking suspicion this was like Chikenpox. An irritant to children but dangerous to adults. Evidence is in my face now though
