For further context it did not help that after the onsen travel they did the rrat that they were turbo gay for each other was getting more stupid to the point that Kiara was annoyed every time she tried to flert with another member of Hololive (or nyanners) her chat get a aneurysm and had to remind her that her wife is Calli,after she left Japan and her schedule barely could match with her she had to drop it for logistic reasons and she was not getting any benefits from it, from all the holoEN she has the lowest viewer count barely clocking 3000 viewers in a normal stream barring collabs and Holotalk but hey this is my rat and i dont want her to pointless numberfag

I think I know that's what that implies, I've always liked them more individually than collabing, I can't be the only one that's always thought that they were very stiff with each other, I'm not implying they hate each other. It's just plain as day you can tell when Calli is having fun with a collab partner. I think distance and less pressure will help them become better friends to be honest.
Also I implied that they weren't best friends, when it was pretty painfully obvious she got along with Gura the best.,(or Bae or Reine or IRyS)

She has several major surgeries coming up that will make her unable to stream for an extended period of time (over a year for recovery best-case), and she's choosing to call it a career. Frankly I'm a little heartbroken; she had one of the most tight-knit communities and no drama to my knowledge, and the streams I did catch were full of fun, playful banter without the usual garbage that pollutes western vtubing (excessive swearing, politics, coomer pandering, etc).

I'd hardly blame you after all the "bye forever" - "nice to meet you" Japanese cultural retardation this medium forces us to endure, and I'd personally be more than willing to accept being deceived for more time with her in a new form as I was with Mint, Nova, Shachi, Lyrica, and others, yet at the same time I've watched literally every member of Lumilive save Reiyu and Mei file out the door one by one and never to return in any form that i'm aware of. Sometimes gone really is gone.

Well, it's never been fully affirmed that Wave 4 would be comprised of ONLY men, but somehow I find it difficult to believe.
I won't be watching, but if people can keep me posted on if she drops any hints I can take a look at later, that would be cool.

Re: the calli clip that was posted earlier this is kind of in the vein of how I took what she had to say there, just saying that she vibes with some people better or has better synergy/chemistry with folks like Bae, but also to say that this doesn't mean she's not friends with Kiara because she is.
It's really no big deal it's like how Subaru and Marine get along well enough, but then when they stream together they both openly admit they don't have good synergy together. It's just natural that some people click better or bounce off of some people better or worse than others and it doesn't need to have a deeper meaning.
Just the shipping nonsense that was tied up in Kiara/Calli, self inflicted and otherwise, ends up making people extra autistic about it.
