The Legault government's Bill 2 is worthy of the most backward laws against trans people in the world, and marks a huge step backwards for trans rights in Quebec. Don't be complicit. Share massively.

1- Bill 2 is the most significant attack in recent decades against the rights of trans people in Quebec.
2- It creates in identity documents a category of "gender identity" instead of changing that of "sex". Far from helping trans people, it marginalizes them further by ostracizing them.
3- Likewise, this law brings back the archaic requirements for gender recognition from before the 2013 law, forcing the sterilization of trans people.
4- Cette loi rend publique la transitude des gens. Elle les expose à la violence et à la discrimination.
5- It de facto creates a second class of citizens. Don't be accomplices!

With this bill and under the guise of satisfying the conclusions of the superior court which found the Quebec law discriminatory against trans people, Legault complies with the demands of the anti-trans "PDF" TERF group (https://site.pdfquebec.org/fr), whose funding was one of his first actions on coming to power. Our communities are livid and we will not stand idly by.

Hold up, Labelle didn't include a detailed description of her comic! How are the seeing impaired going to enjoy this uplifting piece of art? I'll give him a hand:

"Single panel. A series of green and gray blobs meant to represent a pastoral scene of some sort, perhaps a park. Into this scene rolls a tiger... but not just any tiger! A fatassed tiger-boy-thing. Its limbs have been twisted into a grim mockery of a man and placed atop a pair of rollerblades.
