Yes, that was one of their "mission statements" when it came to what they thought ethical detracting was. Freddy sperged out over Ardnas (now Snort Burnell), SJC, Tevin and others who had ads or collected tips on their detractor videos and his gayops got the Ardnas channel shut down, for which he suffered a ton of backlash.
To be fair though Snort puts like 2-3 ads on a 12-15 minute video (where 2 minutes is the intro-outro).

I only know this because I listen sometimes while driving and I get an ad about TEN TO FIFTEEN POUNDS OF TOXIC POOP IN YOUR BODY.

He's deleting Back 4 Blood. Get fucked paypiggies :story:
All that after claiming that he may have come back to it for multiplayer later. He could've at least kept it up until the end of the stream then delete it after, it's not like the wheelchairs would notice.

He really doesn't get why you don't lash out at every inconvenience.

I can't believe how upset this nigger gets by anything that isn't explicitly spelled out and explained to him like he's 5.

It's also mindblowing how he refuses to play these kinds of games with his wheelchairs - what more could you want as far as engagement goes?

Im a big fan of how the story changes. A month ago it was because it was dangerous to play with random people, trolls could kill his family! Then he couldnt play with mods because they were too busy. Then it was because "This is the DSP stream not the DSP plays with other people stream. " Now its too many big games to play, despite 2 days ago Dave telling everyone there are no good games this HARDCORE authentic gaming season.

It seems the only constant is he refuses to play with fans, just with a verity of excuses. Oh hey I get it, that's what makes him a variety streamer, a new bullshit story every time you tune in!

Today on the prestream, Phil claimed that he gets offers daily from indie companies with free game codes begging him to play their game and give it a positive review. He was sure to mention that big companies don't do this, because he already told them all to "fuck off." Does this give any credence to the theory that Phil got that Youtuber Life game for free? Or just more lies and cope?

It's all lies and cope. Phil could be living a nice early retirement, but he has the schedule of a workaholic instead.

Who knows because it wasn't all that long ago that he lied and insisted big companies offered him stuff but he turned it down.

FCC has sponsorship identification rule that Youtube and Twitch both enforce. He'd have to announce that he'd got the game for free or he's sponsored.

Pretty sure both Twitch and Youtube have written in that sponsors can't even ask for positive feedback. I know I've seen many sponsored streams that weren't positive. So he's just talking shit like always.

"but then if you give one bad review no one wants to work with you anymore"

It wasn't that long ago that he claimed that because of da dang dirty detractors, he didn't get any sponsorships. Now he's claiming he gets tonnes of them and rejects them all on principle. Thing is, we all know the latter is bullshit from his twitch bounty streams and the gaming chair fiasco, he takes them because he's greedy. It's having his cake and fucking it too, only anyone with a brain can see through it l.

Most companies won't ask for a positive review directly, but it is often inferred due to the whole idea of not wanting to piss them off. Phil has a nasty habit of putting words in people's mouths so I wouldn't be surprised if it was he's doing it again and they're asking him to curb the infantile insults. Then again most Devs that do this do it with pc games, which Phil hates having to do.

It's one of his more scummy scams. "hey guys here's why you have to pay me more, because I don't want to take money from anyone but you"
it really fucking is, i always think of his "lucrative" offer he said he got recently, which he bragged about declining and then proceeded to beg and say he really needed the help

So I took a second look at this ( feel free to move this to the hair mega thread or whatever it's called if you must) and it really looks like PPB is bald as fuck in the middle and doing a full sweep back to cover it up. It's a bad combover and getting worse. I circled where I think there is still hair. The hair in the middle section can all be traced back to their roots in the front. I see nothing starting in that patch. I bet it he combed it forward he would look like the girl from the ring

a guy who references everything to a movie, thinks Alien and Prometheus are completely different franchises.

Jesus PP you are a dumb mother fucker, how do you survive day to day?
By guilt tripping the feeble minded to give him money, and by sheer dumb luck.

Knows that japanese love KFC like it's gourmet chicken
I particularly enjoyed how he acted like Japanese people are complete dipshits. "To Japanese people KFC is like top quality fried chicken, but here in America it's considered low quality."

How the fuck does he know? Did he run a survey in Japan? It's mind-blowing how condescending he is. Japanese people just think KFC is cheap slop like the rest of the world does. He's acting like they build shrines to the fucking Colonel and pray at it twice a day.

Wait, is that really the origin story? If so it would make so much sense, he's still the quintessential mid-2000s douche with his goatee, faux-macho, "HARDCORE GAYMER" personality.

Well as @Prince Lotor found out, Phil is indeed that mid-2000s douche. You would think he would actually use their hit song in his name, but I guess ButterflySydePhil wasn't going to work:

No. He named himself after the Crazy Town song 'Darkside'. He wanted a catchy 3 letter moniker like the Pro-wrestler Rob Van Dam (RVD). He changed the 'i' to a 'y' because he didn't want people thinking he was some faggy limp-wristed Star Wars nerd, even though he likes Star Wars just fine.
Phil legitimately liked the band Crazy Town.

Name origin story timestamped @ 2m15s
The song he thought was badass and named himself after
