TIHYDPs were buried by Phil himself by becoming the least entertaining streamer in the world and the chat hand-holding him through all the games he plays. Compare a modern playthrough to an old one and the entertainment factor is a night and day difference. It is only natural that they have somewhat "died". I'm also pretty sure that Phil's only interests are money so maybe in his mind he thinks that replaying GTA and Fallout will bring in the bux.

That said, i rarely see a video from Phil or the trolls being worth the attention. I cannot even watch Snort Burnell's videos anymore because every week Phil seems to say the same shit.

SOK as far as I remember, it was something Fred was VERY invested in, never really understood how that guy was wired.

I very much agree with your assessment, but what Dave (and other lolcow creatures) fail to understand is that the people that will watch a TIHYDP will NOT watch a non porn RAW video or stream, much less give the idiot in charge money.

Yes, that was one of their "mission statements" when it came to what they thought ethical detracting was. Freddy sperged out over Ardnas (now Snort Burnell), SJC, Tevin and others who had ads or collected tips on their detractor videos and his gayops got the Ardnas channel shut down, for which he suffered a ton of backlash.

Phil shouldn't talk about music. I promise this isn't me getting defensive about being a punk/metal guy, but if it reads like that feel free to hit me with autism and MATI ratings.

Phil has a history of having no musical taste or knowledge whatsoever. I'm not saying that because I think his tastes suck, I'm saying that because the only reference point we have for the sort of music he listens to is his weird fucking royalty free world music or whatever. He will talk about songs he knows, but they're all pop music tracks from the 90s-00s. Nothing is wrong with any of this. Some people just don't like music, in the same way that I don't like sculpture. Sculpture just doesn't connect with me as an artform, I just don't get it. I also don't talk as though I know anything about the medium. Phil will talk about how certain music is garbage, generic, or not even music. In that death metal rant he says that musicians that do death metal don't see the difference between music and just noise. Death metal is actually very technical, most metal is, and is usually very rhythmic. There's a reason most metal bands drummers have two kick pedals, loud fast rhythms are so important to the genre that it's basically a universal part of the kit.

I wouldn't care about this video if he wasn't still talking this shit about music to this day. I want to know something: how many instruments does Phil know how to play? How many years has it been since he last sang anywhere that wasn't on stream (if you can call what he does singing. I don't) and for an audience, preforming a real song that isn't about shit, dicks, or a combination thereof? When was the last time he even listened to music that is outside of his comfort zone?

I think I wrote this because this sort of shit shouldn't surprise me anymore, but manages to keep on doing it. How can someone be this fucking dense and full of themselves?

This is a call to action, I use them all the time just not when it comes to money, it is that whole like, comment, subscribe thing all YouTube personalities do.

Calls to action are very effective just look at anytime Phil goes Begcon1 or does a REEEEMERGANCY video, he gets a ton of tard bux.

I have been monetizing my content for awhile and I hardly use ads now due to them being a pain in the ass and I tend call people faggots and Susan doesn't like that, Channel memberships are there and I even have a cash app if people don't want to use PayPal.

I've spent that money on upgrades for the channel, gave it back to the Agents, and even had it go up in smoke (thanks for telling me to buy a pre-roll).

The line is when money becomes part of who you are and why you are making content on lolcows.

Money shouldn't be the goal, the goal show be to point and laugh and to have a good time.

I know it feels pretty go to pass a few bucks to your favorites I've passed money to LSB, and DDM to mention a few.

There is a difference between having the avenue available, and directing traffic down that same road.
