I've already commented on how this was a big strength in his diplomacy, but conversely it was a weakness in dealing with the Establishment. The common straightforward corruption would have been no obstacle, he had decades of dealing with bureaucrats looking for payouts or to skim off the top - but ultimately looking out for their own benefit. Trump simply wasn't prepared for ideological zealots willing to burn everything down against their own interests to spite him. By the time he realized it was a Frog and the Scorpion situation and started acting appropriately it was too late.
I agree that the Big Tech faction is motivated more by their money, so at least with them negotiating is an option. They'll have to repay him for their former alliances in money and support for sure, and I don't doubt Trump would keep them on a tight leash, but there is a painful path to redemption.
No quarter will be given to the Establishment swamp critters, though, you can already tell he's hungry for their blood.
