I would honestly say that there are some times with American Cartoons where Japan pulled a 4kids. Best example being some Transformers series.

I'm not saying they have no fault, I'm just saying they did much worse shit.
Those are the work of Yoshikazu Iwanami, who is infamous for his "comedic" dubs of American shows. Another one of his dubs is the 90s X-Men cartoon. These days, he's the sound director for JoJo.

I'm not a big fan of one piece to be honest, but I do love the Yu-Gi-Oh dub from for kids. It's the best in my opinion.
Someone needs to watch Ultimate Muscle.

4KIDS nostalgia gets you lynched everywhere else on the Internet, but these last few years of seeing how scummy FUNimation (and even Viz at times) really are just makes me long for those innocent days. 4KIDS had their heart in the right place at the end of the day (questionable dubs aside), corporate greed just ended up kicking their ass to the curb. I wonder if Sean Schemmel secretly misses 4KIDS, they must've paid him better money than FUNimation currently does.

I still wish Yu-Gi-Oh! could get a proper physical media release, though (has Netflix put up any more episodes btw?). I swear I once saw the entire first season out on DVD at a Wal-Mart years ago, unless it was just the first 13 episodes.

Yeah, even on the Yu-Gi-Oh subreddit you will get lynched and downvoted to all hell if you say you love the dub.

Nostalgia or not, I really like Dan's adult Yugi voice. Ultimate Muscle was something else, didn't get to watch a lot of it. For some of their stuff (yugioh and one piece come to mind), I really like the voice actors they got. The script is another thing though, spent a lot of my asian childhood being confused about jelly doughnuts and riceballs.

Things BitterFennec doesn't understand:
1. How obsessed they are with Vic Mignogna to print out the i09 picture. Creepy. Double points if it's laminated, triple if it is made out of something other than paper.
2. You can't tell the internet what to do. Vic Mignogna has no agency over people, you sheep.
Just because you need internet figures to tell you what you need to do (sounds like parental issues, tbh), doesn't mean other people can't think or act on their own.

As for vork, their grammar is so bad that I can't understand that last tweet.

Funny how one side still continues to thinks Vic, Nick, etc has absolute control over people on the internet (or with people in general). Almost as funny or maybe more funny is how they still think we are the elite internet army of Vic. They're so upset that all their hypocrisy, degeneracy, and retardedness is saved and displayed for all to see.

I sent Nick the Paqui one chip challenge in August and he never did it. I hope he will soon. On stream, that would make for some amazing entertainment...I just hope he heeds common sense with this one. Alcohol will only make the insane heat worse. I know he loves his whisky but that is NOT the time to drink it.
