You know, I understand and fully support the concept of due process and being thorough and whatnot, but at what point does the state just say "you know what, clearly this doctor is not gonna give us the damn files so we need to proceed without them"? He's been putting this trial off by claiming they need to get some kind of paperwork from a doctor for two years now. At some point you would think enough would be enough.

I'm actually curious if they're terrified of the backlash so are just keeping "her" in county jail for long enough to the point where once the trial happens, "she" is free to go because "she" has already served X years in jail.
