I actually do have good news on this. My company was in the middle of being bought out when the mandate came down. Since then, the new company implemented its own vaccination policy, which is that vaccination requirements are set by the client to whose contract we are assigned to. The client for my contract gave its employees until December 8th, so I've got some breathing room there.
In the meantime, my company sent out exemption request forms we can fill out. I'm waiting on mine to be processed now. If my company approves it, it goes to the client, and if they reject it, I can get transferred to a contract that will accept it.
In the other meantime, I've got some pending applications with a couple small town police departments that haven't been ordered to get the shot yet. I'm really not enthusiastic about going back to wrangling piss-stained drunks and sitting with grieving families on opioid death calls, but I needed a backup plan. Even if those departments mandate the vax down the road I'll have bought more time and another shot at getting an exemption to the, er, shot.

It seems like Biden just wants to have his admin run on auto-pilot rather than take any firm role with anything, as though he was the VP of his own administration. This would leave Kamala and her staff probably a tad irritated as they'd be getting little help from Biden who has a lot more influence within his party and could be helping smooth over these crises like the immigration caravans, which Kamala pretty much had tossed off onto her without any real power to do anything about it. This would have to make Kamala and what allies she has at least a bit resentful.
Jill Biden being a dumbass is left feeling like her role is being like a cheerleader for her husband that she figures is doing fine because he's letting the 'experts' run things in his stead, so would be offended by Kamala daring to have the desire that Biden try acting like he's president. So the 25th comment is probably more about Jill being offended and wanting to bad mouth Kamala without realizing what the implications are for what she's saying, because she's a dumbass.

I know I sound absolutely insane or stupid for saying this, but I don't think Biden is suffering dementia. The stories of his dog biting people reminds me of Cuomo's dog, a dog they obviously don't care about deeply and got for nice photos as they consider it an obligation to have a dog because it polls well.
Biden himself strikes me as someone in love with himself to the point he doesn't know how to act appropriately with others. He has the image of himself as being touchy feely and adored for being a representative of Saint Obama, so he feels cute like he can hug random people without it being strange or he can speak as a representative of all black people.
Jill may be much the same, pretty much being too much a narcissist to get how badly they come across to others as well as thinking too highly of themselves to imagine they have to work on their image.
