Pretty much the only tax they don't pay (and the one that people specifically mean when they say someone "doesn't pay taxes") is income tax. The first $12,550 of taxable income that you earn in 2021 ($25,100 for married couples filing jointly) can be deducted, i.e. it is not taxed, if you file your taxes the simple way and take the standard deduction.

So she would have to file a return but the only income she has that would be reportable is social security benefits. However with social security, the first 85% is non taxable. She is also filing head of household since her demons are considered child dependents so thats around 18k of standard deductions. But her taxable amount gets lowered with child credits since the government considers those demons children. So the only one she claims to pay is sales taxes but thats not technically true either. Stores and whatever else she goes to just charge you extra and use that money to pay the sales tax themselves. They pass the cost to you but they end up paying it
