Oh, huh. Looking over at his streams, a stream consisting of her, rpr and ImperialHAL honestly sounds absolutely joyless. Maybe it's just me having an autistic "kids these days" moment, but it's really hard to find something enjoyable in rpr, every time I watch his stream he just seems like a sweaty asshole that knows how to do the shoot.

Some streams are for the benefit of the streamer. If Selen is really into competitive Apex, getting to play with a top tier pro player is something I'd imagine she'd love to do.

From a viewer standpoint, I at least enjoy seeing her go try hard every once in a while.

(I'm kind of just assuming that's what the Hal guy is. Either way, someone important in the competitive Apex community.)

From what I remember of the stream, the author of the series retweeted her stream announcement on his twitter, and then offered to do the giveaway sometime after that. So an after the fact sponsorship, I suppose.

American McGee is a good game creator, just look at his levels in Doom and Quake.

I feel like its series is almost as overplayed as APEX and Minecraft, as I constantly see many VTubers streaming Resident Evil games all the time. It gets tiring.

I can agree with you to a point. The newest RE games like the remakes of 2 and 3, as well as 7 and 8 are definitely overplayed, not just for vtubers, but in general. But anything before RE4, including zero and the remake of 1, are games I'd instantly watch.

So kson recent guest on GMMF was Koheita Iruma, who has less then 800 subscribers. Now the only reason I'm familiar with him is because Marika Matsurika collabs with him fairly often. I had no idea he had that low sub count though. But it's nice of kson to give the limelight to small indies. I do genuinely hope that Marika gets to call in soon, she's great and deserves some extra attenton.

Did Calli's achievements get reset? I initially thought that she hadn't hit Stone Age because the others simply gave her iron tools straight away, which is probably true. But then she got Acquire Hardware which is the smelt an iron bar achievement and I have no idea how someone plays the game for a year, even as infrequently as her, without smelting a single iron bar.

It is known that she was always very protective of her colleagues in Hololive, giving the spotlight to a much smaller profile guy means she kept that attitude and some more!
