What's everyone's stance on Hololive's Home3D? Outside of Miko, Sora, Roboco, etc who's models are built from the ground up to stream up close. Just thought it's pretty noticeable that there's been an influx of members taking the plunge of buying the hardware required to use it. Lamy, Rushia and Kanata the past week. Which, unless it's changed, is out of pocket from what Coco said in the past. But that info is from over a year ago now.
I wouldn't be opposed to it if Cover/Hololive updated them more often, or stepped over to using the more expressive Hologra models. They have the added "bones" in place already and would just need to add the tracking. Which is probably more work than I'm letting on, but keep in mind Coco mentioned that the price of entry was in excess of a few grand at the time. But I guess maybe the influx could also be due to the price has gone down.
As for the models/tracking themselves, there seems to be a rather large discrepancy. Sorry for using two old examples, but I didn't necessarily find Kanata's and Rushia that much different to the original Korone example. Which is a bit lackluster. I do think Korone has had some updates since I think her recent collabs with Miko using her Home3D were a lot better. But if you compare it to Luna's, Luna feels so much more expressive.
