I think i might have been able to glean the dislike of Bob for the Dune movie, like some other leftards that also hate the movie. Because for people invested so much in creating a better and happy future for mankind, they see Dune (a futuristic setting with extremely good plot, characters and motifs) and when they see that it doesn't align perfectly with what they envision, they inmediately dislike it because it says a message about the future they disapprove of. Much like their hatred for Starship Troopers or Warhammer 40K, in which the future is not a shining leftist utopia free of conflict and hatred, but either a militaristic government or an outright autocratic dystopia that is the only thing preventing mankind from collapsing.

Essentially, Bob and people like him want futuristic sci-fi movies, but only if they align with their own percieved idea of what the future is.

Andreas Strucker Swordsman was a fixture on the team after the Purple Reign arc, but I though the series got deservedly shit canned a bit after Dark Avengers.
