Genshin Impact

On the topic of crowns I have 3 on Ning, 2 on Diluc, 2 on Zhongli, 2 on Xingqiu, 1 on Kaeya, 1 on Bennet.
I was actually fresh out until last patch, think I have 3 or 4 in stock now. Think I want to use one on Mona and one on Xiangling next

Would it be wrong to want to play genshin impact with other Kiwi's? I like the idea but how many others are up for the idea?
Start a group DM and we can drop our UIDs in there, but we might be pretty spread apart in terms of server/region.
Theres also the whole not wanting to link your kiwi account with any personal stuff but I dont really care about that especially since you can just change your genshin name and noone can see your name history.
I would be down to carry anyone with bosses or events or domains they have trouble with or open my world for people to fish for their Catch refinements.

Sounds potentially fun, depending on servers/timezones. Aside from burning daily resin I mostly just lurk the Discord server and help newer players with bosses and domains since I've already explored pretty much everything.

I agree it could be fun, but I also don't really have anything that I need done in game. It sounds like we'd need to find someone to carry because most of us are end game.

I wouldnt mind but now that i'm AR55, i can grind anything without issue and coop-wise i only do weeklies with my brother and sometimes help weak randoms out of boredom. America server but live in brazil so my ping is always +120 and nowadays i've been too busy to really do much (didnt even touch the new island yet).

Altho, as much i try to enjoy it, coop in genshin is super awkward and pointless without resin unless you wanna explore a new content with a friend or something, but even then they made it worse (inazuma compass disappears in coop). Game needs more coop events and modes, all these recent ones have been some sort of solo arena fights.

I haven't played the game since the Venti banner & just came back a week ago cause I got a phone that can actually play this game even on the lowest settings. I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did if I didn't have endgame players helping me out of nowhere, I'm only AR22 since this morning.

Is this game more grindy since then, or was the 2fps I was playing it on didn't let me notice it?

ye could be fun actually, it ain't worth much right now since i believe most of us are higher up in ar, but perhaps we could team up for when there's more co-op events or help out anyone that's lower.

do react to this message with anything and i'll add y'all to a group convo 799813371364769823.png

Pls add me, I'm weak as fuck in the game.

Edit: I didn't add to not look pathetic, but I really don't have many friends in this game. I feel like a low level (at least pre-lvl 30) needs someone to carry them.

It shouldn't matter as much at your AR. But soon you will need to pay attention to your artifacts. Farming them before you get acess to the rooms where 5 star ones can drop is not adviseable. Before that use blue and purple ones you have.

To answer your question whether or not the game is grindy. Well, you can do your daily quests and resin in about 30 minutes, if you factor in some weekly bosses and battlepass weeklies etc you can stretch those goals over several days and "grind" for maybe 45 minutes every day.

But that's just the normal grind you do in practically every MMO, you can also always do some exploring, side activities, events or build up your own pot dimension once you unlock it.
Grinding is only really required for a short time when you reach a new world tier and notice some suboptimal stats in your artifacts.
Other than that, it still is a very chill game. You can treat it like a singleplayer game cause there is no competition and most multiplayer events are co-op. Take your time, play what gives you enjoyment, get on the RNG-rollercoaster of artifact farming from time to time, you name it.

Personally, I wanted to play Yoimiya as a Support kinda character, because I like her ult, but I feel like playing her normally as a DPS would work just as well if not better. Is there anyone here that uses Yoimiya and can share some opinions?

no pc or playstation? they recently put in cross-save.

the only real grind is burning your resin (so it isn't wasted) and doing the weekly stuff for more primos etc since there's a timer on it. events etc I think mostly start at ar20 (or maybe 40 now with most of them being based in inazuma, didn't really pay attention after I hit 55+). the advantage of doing your daily chores is that you'll end up with a fair amount of primos to dump on banners for chars, and it only takes 20-30 minutes each day.
don't even have to level artifacts that much (I just did flower and feather while leveling), imo I wouldn't even farm them, just use the ones you get from bosses and chests. have a team strong enough to do the daily chores with, then build the rest of your chars till the current cap and farm leylines as resin dump, they're easier and have no timer etc. (added perk you can switch teams before opening them so give the companion exp to other chars).

mate of mine is a big fan of hers and even crowned her, I remember him telling me about it but honestly can't remember his setup, can ask him next time I see him. same guy who put crimson witch on qiqi with c6 bennet, so the answer could be a bit unconventional.

Genshin Impact is one of those rare games where its only grindy if you make it.

Like do you just want to run around and explore? Fine, do that, and never raise your world level (the WL exp you get doesn't go away) and take the game easy. Want to move up? Yeah, you'r gonna have to pick some characters to focus on to get up to speed for that WL. The Condensed Resin helps making things take less time. Its not bad since if you just focus on a your main party of 4 its pretty easy to gear up in no time.

I would suggest trying to beeline to getting the Serenitea Pot since building it up gives you a way to passively get extra exp books/artifact exp/etc without any effort. So in the mean time make sure to hit trees while your out running around.

I only have one 4 star artifact (The bloodstained cup) which I got for free in the church. All others I have are 3* ones. I am using my 3* ones on pretty much everyone due to set-making.

I've been doing my dailies since I unlocked them.

The boss fights are only doable for me if I do them co-op. I get some great people (they have my genuine thanks) in Asia server (only server I play in) who are Endgame (not using starter units like me, are around LVL 50-90 with their units, etc.). Apart from that, I don't really use my resin much.

I just wanna have fun with this game.

I'm poor, I have a 8GB phone, with extendable 4GB ram on it. I'm happy with it just cause I got a phone after 4 years.

I keep doing bosses on a daily basis. I do the Electro Cube, the Cryoplant & the Anemo Cube (I did it twice, it feels boring & not rewarding enough). I did Oceanid for the first time yesterday. Damn it's cancerous. I went in thinking I was fighting a fun boss... I got a digital jihad on my ass. And majority of it was someone carrying me with their LVL 90 Karya & Barbara. I genuinely only "helped" in giving the illusions Frozen effect with my LVL 24 Kaeya & LVL 20 Aloy, because I know that's all I can do at least to help the person attack the illusions.

Yeah, it's fairly easy for what it's worth. But I honestly feel like the game is somewhere between really easy & at times really grindy at the moment.

I actually only started playing this game cause I don't have money for a Switch (so no BotW for me) & I actually played Honkai Impact for a while. I play it for the vibe, & the good co-op nearly halves the grind.

I just reached WL1 yesterday. I just unlocked Domain of Blessings today.

I only have Starter Squad, Noelle (which I never use), Beidou (Is it weird I'm kinda simping for her) & Aloy (unlimited fowl to eat, & happiness of fucking with that little shit Jimmy). I have yet to get Barbara, & use the Starter Squad method to get the Xiangling (that's probably the biggest grind I'll have).

I haven't really done the story much due to how high level the enemies started getting. The last thing I fought was a Ruin Guard in the temple & goddamn, I nearly had to camp that fucker with my Amber.

I almost wanted to ask the co-op people to help me with the story quests &, I still want to, but they already help me with bosses to grind daily & some even helped me unlock the map a lot. I unlocked Liyue Statue by AR19, the mountains don't feel accursed cause I unlocked the statue on the mountains (also some guy helped me go underground in the mountains & a ball of orb shot in the sky laterwards) & the Chinese village with elevators is accessible to me now.

They help with things so much that it almost feels exploiting to ask them to do everything (Asia server is good that way, I guess), I don't know if I'll waste their time with story cutscenes that they already have done, but can't skip like I can't.

But yeah, I can't do majority of the shit in this alone, specially the way I am rn.

was just wondering, usually a phone to run the game somewhat acceptable costs as much as a ps4 or pc if not more, unless you get it with some contract.

you can re-use the artifacts by using them for exp in others, so it's not that bad to level the 3* (you need to anyway else you run out of space). focus on flower/feather first for hp/atk, that will buff your surviveability and damage, than fill whatever else you got.

one "trick" that makes it a lot easier is to level it like megaman: use amber to farm shit easy from the cryo flower for kaeya. use kaeya to farm easy from the electro hypostatis (via superconduct) and amber for the execution phase. then use the electro parts for beidou (or lisa). use barbara for the pyro flower for amber (or xianling if you got her at that point). only difference is geo where noelle can farm her geo stuff herself. you can switch it around depending who you wanna focus on first.

another thing lot of people ignore because it's less relevant for sweaty abyss and shit with a timer: overload is a CC, it won't help you kill stuff faster but in return you don't die as fast either, same with frozen which you can easily do with just kaeya and barb, then use lisa for superconduct and amber bunny for aggro/pyro/range when you need it (shoot the ruin guard eye then go to town, if they shoot rockets move away and sidestep). switch either with noelle for heals if you need it. that was my very first team that carried me all the way up to ar40+, then I switched to razor for some easy ungabunga. you could use beidou + barb for that as well (electrocharged and heals if you miss a counter), but imo you "learn" more if you have to work a bit for it in the beginning, and kaeya makes it very easy to dodge shit. once you understand how most bosses work they become very easy (weeklies are a bit different since they're stat/teamchecks, but besides stormterror they all can be done in coop).

aloy is... ok. not bad but imo needs some anemo char to vacuum her iceballs around to get more out if it, without it the cd is just too long to be of much use (kaeya is free and has much faster/easier cryo application).

I appreciate it, thanks!
nothing special apparently, he said shimenawa on yoimiya, xq with 2Hod/2NO + bennet for buff and resonance. 4 whoever. his benett is c6 tho, but shouldn't make much difference with that setup (although I assume this also means some easy vapes with xq, but haven't really looked into stack order and application in that combo etc so can't say how good it is, but he's mainly there for burst support anyway).

Im pretty happy if Noelle ends up not being on HT's banner. I was willing to give up my pity in order to get her last 4 constellations.
Now hopefully shes on Albedos. That would be pretty much perfect for me.

HTs banner is stacked though. If you believe in building pity it has Sayu, Diona, and thoma

I think of it like this:
MMOs make you grind for a lot of hours over a long period of time
Genshin/mobileshit with stamina systems only make you play for like 15 minutes a day. Maybe 20-25 minutes if its a monday.
Literally my commissions take like 5 minutes and an artifact domain takes anywhere from maybe 20 to 80 seconds each.

I like the new event in concept, but I don't think it's fully there yet. If they do some revisions on it and include more stuff like adjustable difficulty, more reasons for party swapping, or meaningful traversal, it could be a really good alternative to the Abyss for end-game content. Shout-out to whoever included the card that boosts your constellations by 1 and lets you feel like a whale for half an hour.

Did any go through the new island? It's a decently ominous area for Genshin standards and I dig it. There's some time-gating and Groundhog Day fuckery that makes the questline a little annoying, but it was cool overall.

Been through the new island back when 2.2 launched and I thought it was fairly decent/cool. Part of me didn’t mind the time gated quest (At least it didn’t take as long as the one nuclear island quest...A time gated quest should not take five to seven-ish days imo).

Haven’t really felt much need to go back to the island since finishing the quest and wanting to get the extra furnishing sets/primos. I am looking forward to that new wolf boss. Even if the boss is gonna be a bitch to fight without archer/ranged characters, it’s animation and design looks cool enough.
