Trans companies already do a heavy amount of marketing and sponsorships, but only to the right audience, who are always gullible and brainwashed enough to buy their products. There really is no need to take on a government contract when there are already plenty of trans YouTubers/tiktokers who shill their products (for free, the majority of the time) to impressionable children/teenagers/young adults all across the platforms, and they go on to shill them to their friends. I can guarantee you that every single FTM documented in this thread already knows about STPs, but their crippling body dysmorphia and delusions were simply too strong to be satisfied by them. The FTM starter pack (for those with a decent chunk of change) is a gc2b binder, a Mr. Limpy packer, a Lou STP, and a harness or joey to keep the latter two in place.

Castrati however didn’t have to sound like women: the goal was to have the power of a male torax combined with the ability to hit higher notes that adult males wouldn’t normally hit. Ideally, the would have to sound better than women (we will likely never know if it actually happened).
