If he's going with "People are going to LOVE it in retrospect", why would they go for another Ancient Aliens movie buried under a mountain of other MCU movies that's a poor adaptation of it's source material? You'd think a future Marvel fan who actually cares enough to read up on the Eternals would be more likely to be drawn towards Kirby's comics, even if it's just him apeing 2001, for having more significance.

The movie doesn't even do the premise right because they adapted the Eternals and Deviants, both groups of humans genetically altered by extraterrestrials, as "Eternals, good guy aliens, and the Deviants, random parasite monsters that they can slaughter with no thought". The man's big brain capeshit movie is somehow less morally complex than a 70s comic aimed at kids.
