i listened to the most recent ep of TDS today while grocery shopping (i had run out of other podcasts to listen to lol) it starts out pretty funny when Vito Dick and Sean are all joking about this incident, which is what they should do while they wait for potential payouts to roll in. but about an hour or so in they start working themselves up into a big gay frenzy. after endless minutes of Los Retardos Hermanos egging each other on about how terrible it all was Dick starts almost crying about how he’s now possibly disabled for life lmao. at one point they get all serious and start going “we have to be very careful how we handle this, because that guy did an ATTEMPTED MURDER on you ON CAMERA and we have to BRING HIM TO JUSTICE!!” then Sean starts chimping out about how he wants to smash people’s heads in with a baseball bat. their constant escalating of the peril and stakes with each retelling of the story, and dramatic fear for their lives from the troon defenders, makes them come off as about as hysterical as the troon brigade themselves
