AT&T Employee Training Program Says, ‘White People, You are the Problem’​

AT&T Corporation is putting its employees through a racial reeducation program that teaches that “American racism is a uniquely white trait” and tells white people that they are “the problem,” according to a new report.

According to internal documents obtained by City Journal’s Christopher Rufo, the company implemented an initiative called the Listen Understand Act last year, which is based on the core principles of critical race theory, including intersectionality, systemic racism, white privilege and white fragility. The program peddles left-wing causes including reparations, defunding the police and transgender activism, according to Rufo.(Terrible.)


CEO John Stankey has claimed that private corporations, including his own, have an “obligation to engage on this issue of racial injustice” and to advocate for “system reforms in police departments across the country.

A senior employee reportedly told Rufo that managers at the company now face annual assessments on diversity issues and are forced to participate in discussion groups, book clubs, mentorship programs and race reeducation exercises. (

White employees who are unwilling to admit to being complicit in “white privilege” and “systemic racism” can be penalized in their performance reviews. Additionally, those who refuse to sign a loyalty pledge to “keep pushing for change” and to set “intentions” such as “reading more about systemic racism” and “challenging others’ language that is hateful,” are considered “racist,” the employee told Rufo.
The program encourages employees to read an article titled, “White America, if you want to know who’s responsible for racism, look in the mirror.”(Just like people had to do in Communist countries, pay lip service to the Communist Party and the regime. - JS)

The article, written by Dahleen Glanton, says: “White people, you are the problem. Regardless of how much you say you detest racism, you are the sole reason it has flourished for centuries.” (BULLSHIT. - JS)

It adds that “American racism is a uniquely white trait” and that “Black people cannot be racist.”(BULLSHIT. - JS)

The training encourages employees to undertake a “21-Day Racial Equity Habit Challenge” that calls on employees to “do one action [per day for 21 days] to further [their] understanding of power, privilege, supremacy, oppression, and equity.”(Guess again. Most people will say they did something and do nothing. - JS)

It includes lessons on “whiteness” that teach that “white supremacy [is] baked into our country’s foundation” and that “Whiteness is one of the biggest and most long-running scams ever perpetrated.” The challenge adds that the “weaponization of whiteness” creates a “constant barrage of harm” for minorities.(More lies. - JS)

The challenge also recommends that employees review articles and videos that advocate for a number of progressive causes and asks employees to “follow, quote, repost, and retweet” organizations such as the Transgender Training Institute and the National Center for Transgender Equality.(No. - JS)


 
The logic of "white privilege" is like blaming the normal students for why the special education kids aren't performing as well. It's based on the same fallacious assumption that all left-wing ideology is founded upon: that if someone is doing well, then that success could only have come at the expense of someone else, hence why white people are now being blamed for the failings of black people.

What makes all of this extra pathetic is that it wasn't black people who came up with Critical Race Theory or any of its related concepts, but white liberal intellectuals like Peggy McIntosh who were disturbed by the lack of achievement of black people even after the Civil Rights movement of the 60s had eliminated all meaningful institutional barriers to their success. Without slavery or Jim Crow to explain the poverty and violence endemic in black communities, they then had to invent an unfalsifiable, invisible system of oppression as a way to conveniently explain why white people were still ahead in spite of an institutional commitment to equality, or even outright favouring of black people through affirmative action.

I'm pretty sure every white person working for AT&T in Tampa can sue the company right now for this and get a nice paycheck, I would be doing that if I were one of them.
People shouldn't be scared to sue in the US of all places, the land of lawyers.
 
If I were an employee of theirs and saw this shit i'd walk out of the room and go straight to my lawyers office

I remember like 10 years ago when all the idpol bullshit was just starting to appear everyone was like 'lol these retards are going to get a reality check when they get out of college and into the real world' and yes most of them ended up as fucking losers who cry on twitter all day and beg for donations so they can cut their dicks off but a good number of them also managed to infect big corporations and the government with this ridiculous bullshit, what the fuck happened?

The courts have been winking at anti-white discrimination for decades, when they're not actively endorsing it ("race-sensitive admissions," anyone?) so a payout is not guaranteed. What is guaranteed is that any employee who takes this to court will be fired and publically smeared as some kind of klansman by both their former employer and journoscum (and any lawyer who agrees to represent them will get blacklisted and may get their license pulled.)

Similar to how a former coworker of mine tried to file an HR complaint because he was sick of the fat old chicks in the mailroom constantly calling him down to carry things for them so they could ogle him and make creepy comments.

And the HR manager told him that he “could” file the complaint if he wanted to, but it would definitely make him appear to be a troublemaker or thin-skinned if he was getting upset about being called “strong” and told “how helpful he was”, and it would definitely kill his chances of ever getting another position in the company, so he just lived with it for a year.

AT&T is a massive ISP that has monopolies in some places. Anyone that wants borderline modern internet speeds in those areas has few choices. It's why Spectrum gets away with being complete garbage in some areas. What are they going to do? Change ISPs?
 
From what we've seen with Coke, Walmart, etc, it's safe to assume that all massive corporations have anti-white brainwashing sessions as part of their hiring process by now. They're desperate for those high ESG scores.

I wonder if these kind of things will eventually just morph into full blown chinese style struggle sesssions for the woke regime.

Whatever they can do. I see why they did this anti white thing. Simply search Facebook and see how ATT has been linked to some right wing nonsense and they're just trying to save face. If they're going to attack a race of people because of their stupid politics, they deserve loss of business. I understand not everyone will be able to do so, but the ones that can, should.
