There's a crunchy baby-like circle on instagram for owners of horrible congenitally deformed dogs who name their accounts shit like "bella's miraculous journey". The QOL of the dogs vary, some are totally normal at being dogs but just look junji ito creatures, others are clearly handicapped. One I follow is a frenchie with an insane hydrocephalus dome, turns out it died recently.

It really fucking pisses me off seeing deformed animals being used for inspiration porn. It's not some triumph that your fuck ugly pug survived the dozen medical conditions that were bred into it, its a damning reflection of human greed. They always go on about about how the dogs "learned to love themselves and feel beautiful" and loads of anthropomorphic shit while getting loads of asspats. It's all done for the human ego.
Almost makes me as MATI as the dumbass vegans who try to stick a 900lbs hiefer with a broken leg in a wheelchair. Shooting it between the eyes would be a kinder fate.
