I’m not anti-vax at all. When I worked in healthcare I received my yearly flu shot as required. I’m not trying to make an argument about vaccines, I’m talking about what the COVID pandemic has led to, and will continue to lead to in various countries as far as repealing people rights.

So what is this grand plan? Don't give me a link to some schizobabble, like tell us what the government's plan is and what their gain from doing so here. What does the government have to gain from forcing people to get vaccinated, other than to help slow/stop the spread of covid? Why does the government care about forcing Bubba from Bumfuck, Nebraska to wear a mask?

My province has a vaccination rate over 80%, eligible at 90%, vaccine passports, masks everywhere.

Covid cases are up, and serious cases are up, and in the region of the highest they've been. This is despite the fact that we're not a warm climate, and it's not very cold yet, so we should be doing better than this. Last year cases didn't take off until mid-November. Israel's highest peaks came after the population was fully vaccinated.

I got vaccinated and so did my eligible family members but I don't think they work very well. I won't be first in line to do the kids.

If I were going to commit a crime that killed many people, I too would write and edit a manuscript, submit it to a publisher, receive the manuscript back with edits, approve those edits, submit the finished manuscript, approve the graphic designer's cover image, talk to my publisher about possible changes to the the proof copy, wait for the publication date, and then promote the book, all in the hope that "simple-minded fucks" did not read my book, rather than simply not write that book.

I'm pro-vaccine (seriously pro-vaccine, I've been in studies for new ones before and I'm enrolled in a COVID one), but this is not reassuring.
