Evergrande Financial Panic - Corona is not the only Contagion China is exporting

Seems to have some truth to it. This is why you never trust Chinese made items that might accidentally kill you. They seem to cheap out all of the time. I’ll take my late award.
Sinovac is a pretty good vaccine for the Chinese virus because it does fuck all instead of giving you myocarditis, an increased risk of Alzheimers, and letting China develop a bioweapon that kills you if you've taken it, so I'll give them that one.
There were traitors in the original Cold War too, they leaked state secrets to the Soviets in exchange for wealth. And still, they collapsed and the U.S. didn't. We are also talking about the spirit of the peaceful present times, in times of war, things work differently, wars invigorate public morale and you can bet the U.S. would give China a hell of a fight in that case!
The Soviets never infiltrated as high in the government, military-industrial complex, and financial system in the West as the Chinese have now. You have Chinese spies associating openly with powerful Congressmen, Confucius Institutes (Chinese spy handling centers) on many campuses, and our technology "mysteriously" popping up in China over and over again.

They had some people in Congress on their pockets back in the day, there were also double spies like Aldritch Ames and Robert Hanssen selling them secrets, they had assets in the CIA and the FBI! But I agree, the Soviets couldn't penetrate as much as they didn't have as much of an economical relationship with the U.S. as China does!

That also leaves them with a glaring weakness, relying on the U.S. and the West as a whole to keep their economy going. They are positioning themselves in hostility to the West and pissing off lots of neighbouring countries at once, Wolf Warrior "Diplomacy" has to be one of the most retarded tactics ever attempted!

I do have faith in the West, however! If some random asshole (me lol!) on a forum has noticed all of this, it's only natural to believe that so have the higher ups in power!

On the topic of Evergrande, it shows that while China is nothing to scoff at, they are not invincible. This whole crisis is only a thing because of CCP policy, isn't it? Shows that they are not as infallible as they make themselves to be, do remember that saving face is vital in asian cultures, they are all about it!

Manhattan project was infested with soviet spies, including others like the Rosenbergs. There was an interview awhile back with some of the Los Alamos scientists before they died how they had a couple people who would occasionally raise eyebrows with defending the soviet union or socialism. They never made much publicity but were they according to those interviews.

But I agree china is significantly more capable in the spy game.

When people can't buy cell phones, computer, tv's, sneakers, toys etc etc that public morale will drop right quick.
Not many of my fellow americans give enough of a shit about Taiwan to give up their bread and circus. I would also bet 90% of them couldn't even find it on a map.

Makes me wonder how high up in the FBI and CIA the Chinese assets go. Probably fairly high since China keeps arresting and killing CIA glowies and the glowies suspect there's a big network of double agents.

It's easy to get into a lull about this sort of news because it seems every few years China has a big property disaster that stalls their GDP for that year and then they promptly recover. One of these times IIRC was when shit like the world's largest shopping mall (99% empty) and the city with over 100K people (empty) first got discussed, probably in relation to how no one ever made money off them.

This time it might be different since the lethal mix of China's virus and Western politicians has fucked up the world economy meaning the ability to absorb the failure of another batch of shitty companies is greatly lessened.

It was still decently clean since the Soviets didn't get the bomb until 1948 and IIRC the Soviet spies MOSTLY came from cross-contamination with the British nuclear bomb program that got folded into the Manhattan Project. Today I think if the US had some new superweapon, the Chinese would have it within 12-16 months.

Are we forgetting that the CIA is the largest spy organization in the world? Do you not think the US has a black hand of her own?

The CIA is just as bloated and ineffective as the rest of the military-industrial complex, and they know it.

Perhaps this quote is trite in these types of conversations, but I find it still rings true.

Land invasion of the USA if not impossible, would be so impractical as to render it essentially impossible. Regardless of their chosen method of conflict the Chinese would enter a dangerous game; unfortunately for the chinese they rely heavily upon US agriculture, unless they were able to swiftly and permanently secure the bulk of US farmland they would invite rebellion on the homefront. People can go without cheap plastic toys(despite what pessimistic doomers might say), I'm sure no kiwis need to be told what people cannot go without.

I used to think like you. I thought there was no way for the US to lose a conventional war with another major power. There's just one little flaw in your analysis. Our military is now run by people like General Milley who has literally betrayed the American people to China.

Note the part where I said “dragged out and shot” and who would do the shooting. The Feds know who needs to be purged if things get rough, and they will do it in a heartbeat. Never underestimate a suit that has kids. He won’t be doing it to clear his name or any bullshit like that, it will be strictly for survival.

Stop being stupid. This is Sinopharm:

China's Sinopharm vaccine 'most unsafe in world' with 73 side effects

Full list of adverse reactions from China's Sinopharm vaccine revealed

For rare, it lists acute allergic reaction, lethargy, drowsiness, difficulty sleeping, sneezing, nasopharyngitis, nasal congestion, dry throat, influenza, hypoesthesia, limb pain, palpitations, stomach ache, rash, skin and mucous membrane abnormalities, acne, eye pain, ear discomfort, and lymphadenopathy.

Lastly, under very rare, it lists chills, dysgeusia (distortion of the sense of taste), loss of taste, feeling abnormal, tremors, difficulty paying attention, nose bleeds, asthma, throat irritation, tonsillitis, limb discomfort, neck pain, jaw pain, neck lumps, mouth ulcers, toothache, esophageal disease, gastritis, discoloration of stool, eye pain, blurred vision, eye irritation, vision loss, earache, nervousness, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, urinary incontinence, and delayed menstruation.

Sinovac should not be any different.

Correct. And don't let anyone tell you that this shit is just propaganda either. Anyone who has ever worked with Chinese people in any capacity appreciates that the only thing the slants know how to do is lie, cheat, steal and cut corners. To wit: why bother going to the trouble of R&Ding a working Covid vaccine, when you can just cobble some chemicals together in some mock approximation and pray that it doesn't murder your 'fellow' countrymen too noticeably? Fuck having to do actual, ethical work.

I used to think the US Navy made invasion of the US impracticable, but now I'm thinking the main hazard they'd pose to a foreign fleet is the USN penchant for collissions.

If the chinks bring back the corvus, we're diced.

I'm speaking of Sinovac (don't know as much about the other) and it probably can't be worse for you than injecting with useless spike proteins that may be deadly. Show me some evidence that matches the fit teenagers dying of heart conditions you see with Western vaxx or people taking a bunch of sick days because they just got vaxxed. Hell, even anecdotal evidence from someone who's gotten it.

Everything I've heard is Sinovac is just a shitty flu shot, not much more dangerous than a flu shot (unlike mRNA gene therapy), and is barely more effective than a placebo. It's almost certainly safer long term than mRNA tech which I can give a long list of potential and confirmed risks.

How many smaller companies would have to fail to equal Evergrande? It seems like we are focusing on a singular domino rocking back and forth while missing the others that are toppling.

the thing about real estate is its an absolutely massive domino to fall.
if a bunch of people lose their homes, a lot of industry that are home related fall with it, not necessarily fail.
remember all those apartments that will never get finished. one problem of that is it takes up valuable space that could have been used.
im guessing when this company goes bankrupt, because they will. china will seize it, sell it for cheap to another company and they'll finish those apartments. if people had any interest in actaully living their.

there's some level of comfort people are willing to lose.
the last thing people refuse to lose is food and water.
lose those and society crumbles fast.

You’re talking about medicine that comes from a country whose food supply is abundant in nutrients like lead and arsenic.

to add on to that, if you ever do a business contract with a chinese company.
have someone look through it with a fine tooth comb when you get it back
they are known to modify terms in the contract without letting you know.

You reminded me of the infamous 4chan tirade about anon trying to do business in the steel industry with chinks, so I'm posting that here:

Only two kinds of people would propose a land invasion of the U.S., the crazies and the retards. The logistics of maintaining supply lines and moving millions of troops from China and/or Russia to the continental U.S. would be insane, the only power that ever invaded the mainland was Great Britain, back before missiles and fighter jets existed and they didn't need to change their supply lines too much for that. It wasn't also a case of total war, which a possible invasion like this one would be!

Just making it possible would be very costly, and that is before the war itself happens. Destroying supply lines would be equally as easy in this case, considering their ports are all near U.S. aligned countries, making the task of putting them on a chokehold with a blockade much easier. They would need to be the retards of retards to even consider such an idea!

How many smaller companies would have to fail to equal Evergrande? It seems like we are focusing on a singular domino rocking back and forth while missing the others that are toppling.
A fucking lot lol! 300 billion is an insane amount. Putting it into perspective for other chinese companies, if a company like Tencent, valued at a trillion USD, had to shoulder debt like this they would still be fucked, that's more than what they have in assets and revenue!

That is just the debt, keeping the company alive is another matter. They have projects to finish, they need an influx of sales, new contracts, all that shit that is now harder to come by thanks to their supreme fuck up lol!
