Nightmind posted a video promoting someone's cliche short horror film that is full of cliches especially those found in modern horror and stories about rock stars.

It's okay as a short film, I guess? I have no idea how they could extend such a goofy premise into a feature-length film, it's so cheesy it'd make most b-movies blush.

That little intro and the "Night Mind presents" on the title of the video really bother me, though. I really don't know why you'd need Nick to pop in just to tell you something he could've summed up into the description of the video or a pinned comment. It's such an autistic thing to nitpick on, but it's a recurring theme with that guy. It's like he's incapable of touching something and not making it even remotely about himself.

I typically love Wendigoon's videos, but that one was kinda bad. The mini-coverage of the Mary Celeste was fine, but it falls apart after that, with lousy coverage of the Kaz2, lighthouse, and a bunch of sea monster sightings mushed together with a bunch of old and trite sea myths that just felt like he was trying to win an internet argument on why the ocean sucks. I'm guessing he just rushed it to get it out for Halloween.

Still better than Nightmind's yearly SCP video. SCP is pretty pozzed and cringe these days, only topped by those bailing and trying to create their own based SCP sites/lore really too quickly. However, I still have a soft nostalgia spot for oldies or some decent picks from the 3000's+. However I just couldn't stand this one, and bailed after what felt like 10 minutes of fan fiction setting up reading Wikipedia style fan fictions.

The ocean mystery thing with Wendigoon was pretty disappointing. I've liked his vids, and I like how in depth he's going in that 9+ part conspiracy iceberg series. But the meme "phobia" thalassophobia that everyone with a twitter account and a personality disorder has... really? And his comments about Cosmo being a >her. It doesn't bode well. I thought Christianity would keep him away from exceptionalism, but I'm pessimistic about it.

I've also enjoyed Internet Investigator's vids, but the patreon plugs and paypal ebegging from someone with 50k subs is annoying. I'm not joining a patreon for uncut vids. Upload to Odysee or Bitchute or something if you actually want to make uncut stuff. I'm not a gear person so I have no idea what mic she's using, but I don't think those dynamic mics work so great 3 feet away from the mouth. I'm used to youtubers having shitty echo-y audio, because they won't spend the $20 on a lav mic and think they can just holler at their smartphone to compensate for it, but jesus christ. I've never seen a youtuber have a decent looking mic and then not fucking use it. Get one of your patreon paypigs to figure it out and edit your audio or something. But, the range of topics is good. It's nice to see a woman in this topic that's not pretending like args are real (reignbot) or doing her makeup or whatever.

I've crippling autism so my recommendations is filled with iceberg videos and I fucking hate, hate, HATE FoxAkimbo because he's bri*ish but also is one of those fucks who spend most of the time with facecam on. Not just that, but with BreadTube lighting as well. It is NOT stylish. I do NOT want to see your face and I definitely do NOT want to see your babysmooth bare chest, button up your damn shirt. And improve the audio quality, you aren't supposed to fellate the mic.

Funnily enough, I still don't mind when Wendigoon does it. BECAUSE HE'S NOT AN EYESORE.

I used to like Nexpo but he's starting to become equally grating this past year and some of his newer videos haven't really been that interesting to me. Like his ' cult in a bording school ' video isn't even about a cult, it's about Elan school which was never a cult to begin with?

Wendigoon is okay but I can't stand the daddy parasocial relationship shit that every and any male youtuber's fanbase ends up with--- also his girlfriend's editing in the Mandela Catalogue video was less quirky and more distracting from the content the anything. I also like The Internet Investigator since she does more obscure topics but, like everyone else in thread has said, her way of speaking is too grating to listen to for a long period of time.
