No. Troons are in tech jobs because everyone that is competent has quit. Big tech and other pozzed companies have seen a massive exodus of employees.
This can be seen in the quit rate that has been increasing month over month. The most competent people have decided that they don't want to work around trannies, furfags, and other LGBTP+ bullshit.

You know, being a bit late could be spun into an advantage if Jim gave a shit. Jimquisition isn't really a news show, its an editorial and opinion show. This means he doesn't need to be timely, only that he needs interesting takes.
The speed of gaming news is such that about once a week you have at most one long running story wrapping up, meaning you can go back and say "So this thing is finally done. It took two months to resolve, so lets look back on it and here's my opinion now that we are done with this bit of news." Combined with a lightning round of what is happening and some immediate takes on it all with the repeated little disclaimer of "this seems to be on going, so I'll have deeper thoughts when or if something more comes of it". Declare the cut off date for news to be covered as Friday, toss in 16 hours of work over the course of the weekend, upload on Monday, and you're done. The rest of the week just copy links to things that are going down over the course of the week. He wouldn't even need to put in a full 16 hours most weeks.

I am going to ONLY use YongYea as my source for stories, the requirement is that it must be a news story and the time the video has been up is less than 1 week. That's it, I will start a timer before typing this, but I won't count in my watch time nor research since such things can vary far too much, and I've had to do a lot of this before hand.
Nintendo Switch Online Expansion is WAY too expensive and the emulation on it is pretty shit. Naturally, people are pissed.
This bummed me out, as I was looking forward to this as an easy way to play games I liked on my N64 which I no longer have now or to avoid having to go through the hassle of hooking up my N64 to play them on my TV. I still have means to emulate them and project them to the TV, but to convenience would've sold me. It would've also been a nice way to play these old games when traveling. However the price definitely isn't worth it, and the quality of emulation being shit is, well, a complete deal breaker. Do better Nintendo.

Remember when everyone assumed Bungie wouldn't be evil anymore without Activision? Yeah, no they are still assholes. Fuck Bungie for this. The removal of under played content makes no rational sense these days, just leave it there, who cares if people aren't playing it anymore. People PAID for that, and it provides content for people who are new to the game and just want stuff to do. To then turn around and demand money for new stuff after taking stuff people paid for away is beyond bullshit. Fuck you Bungie. Removing old free content is fine, but stupid, but paid content? Yeah no, that ain't cool.
Activision-Blizzard Apparently Gave Into Employee Demands and Are Paying Out Some Money, Oh, and Kotick Got His Salary Cut
This is a big story which has wrapped up after weeks of coverage. Now their final response means nothing, its some policy changes but no action, and its all a PR move. Considering Blizzard is going "BOOBS ARE EVIL!" and removing anything referencing their employees as far as Easter eggs go in their games right now, despite the matchmaking, mechanical, and technical issues they are having and ignoring. Yeah this is just another way to distract from the fact some people are shit, I actually did do some actually investigation on this when it first happened, made some phone calls, talked to some people, and Blizzard did definitely have some serious work culture issues, not as bad as people say, but bad enough they should be addressed before they started to interfere with the quality of the product any further. The real issue was the HR department just didn't want to do their jobs so certain issues grew without being put down early, you know how it is, give a man an inch he'll take a mile. Nothing to justify the outrage, and most of this was preventable if they gave a few more shits about their PR and keeping employees on task, which would've also produced better products. Go fucking figure.
As for the salary cut, yeah Kotick won't lose a penny, doesn't matter his pay was cut down to only $62k from $150m, the way he's paid will simply shift around. If we're lucky the board might kick him for being a PR disaster next time he does something fucking retarded, because he is a fucking moron, he's known to be a PR issues already, so this is just par for the course, but people are definitely starting to get fed up with his crap. Kotick is like the one guy in the industry I actually feels deserves any amount of heat. I expect big companies to function as companies and line their own and investor's pockets, however Kotick gives zero shits about how the industry he works in functions, and he doesn't give a fuck about the creativity nor the art of creating games, just the sales which leads to bad business decisions, the death of even more properties than EA can claim, and a total lack of creativity and way too much money left on the table by letting mid range franchises sit around, neglected and ignored. Heck, there is even a term for people who leave Activision-Blizzard after having their creativity and souls sucked away by having to make way too much Call of Duty "Crushed Under Kotick". This term is often used by higher ups to justify not hiring what should otherwise be well respected and experienced game designers, as they are basically viewed as damaged goods. Kotick is that bad.
Fuck Activision-Blizzard, fuck Kotick, but even more fuck the politics and censorship being used to try and distract from this shit. Make good games, make fun games, make interesting games, make a wider range of games, and stop trying to please people who don't even play your games. Also treat your employees like human beings. This is all a giant over reaction and honestly the response won't do anything. It's a non-response of PR and buzzwords with the illusion of action to go with it.
Ubisoft Employees Are Whining Too After The Activision-Blizzard Stuff In The Last Story
Ubisoft, is a shit company, but not the worse, and this feels a lot like #MeToo against corporations. If this stuff is true, it's not great, if it isn't true, then this is just employees being a bit whiny and hoping to cause a scene. Since this is purely about harassment and HR stuff, I don't have much to say, we don't have enough information. Only allegations, and no evidence. Ubisoft could treat its employees better though, I know enough to say that, and its HR department is a bit crap, but that's every company. Honestly, I have way bigger issues with Ubisoft than worrying about the allegations, though those allegations could be a sign of something greater causing the issues I have with them.

You could apparently post pics (A quick poke into this shows someone apparently was posting from the Furry Art Freak Show thread here on the Farms, will is basically a human rights violation so fuck that guy), and there was also a way to crash other players. This is why you sanitize your input fields, and why you hire people to try to break this shit. Absolutely a case of incompetence, we'll wait until we hear if there were any other security holes or exploits, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone managed to slip something malicious though, it really depends how long this issue went unnoticed and how many autists were exploiting it. I definitely want more information on this as it becomes available.

40m 04s 09ms. That is how long it took me to write that and do one fast edit pass, didn't even bother to pause the timer to get up, grab a drink, feed the cat, reskim a few articles, and check my email in the middle of it. I took it somewhat seriously. I even made sure to inject some character and personality into it all. My job wasn't to report what was happening, it was to give short opinions on it, and I gave a longer opinion on the big story of the week, the conclusion to the Activision-Blizzard Harassment Saga.
I watched all of the videos in the set time frame for this from Yong Yea, doing a paragraph for each video, and read the linked sources in the description. That is ~84m of video, which I did at double speed for ~42m, and then another hour or so of reading. That is some lazy ass bitch tier work, but I do about two hours of that a day for professional reasons anyways (to be fair, I listen to the videos while I do other shit). Yet, in all the time it took me to do four and a half stories, Jim would've said half as much about just one of them eight months late.
I expect puzzles now.

IIRC, Cawthorn was going to quit the industry because of how much criticism his games got. It was only when he tossed the idea of doing it as deliberately creepy around in his head for a while that he thought he might have something. Still FNAF was never some kind of huge brand from the start, it originally released on Desura of all places. People actually got to play it and then voted for it on Greenlight.
The funny thing is Cawthorn apparently donated $50,000 to The Trevor Project a couple months ago. More than he gave to Republican candidates (and Tulsi Gabbard). So Jim's extra weird on this one as he's already paid apology money. (Plus he's given to charities like the World Wildlife Fund, St. Jude's, etc. multiple times.)

The last time I saw his vid's was way back, in the Digital Homicide lawsuit, so about 4 years, It's fucking hilarious that after all those years of wearing costume's he went full troon and has become the costume himself. I guess the proof was in the pudding all along.

I don't understand why people hate him, tbh. Literally don't see the purpose. He's become irrelevant to everything anyone could care about. Nobody in video games releases a game worrying about what Jim\Stephanie\whatever Sterling is going to say next Monday. Anyone who bothers looking just sees a dumpster fire.
