In addition, he might be lying by omission under oath. Actually, the defense attourney? his entire goal was to get under Mr. Black's skin; tugging on the history with Kyle. I now understand why he started with the line of questioning about their relationship, which was "like brothers" according to Mr. Black. I feel bad but justice isn't always pretty.

If kyle gets convicted, black will have his case dropped. if pross charges black anyway, no one is going to turn state's witness because the state is untrustworthy. pross's career has more to lose charging black than if he let him go. taking down organized crime is a bigger plus than a political trial where everything is stacked against the defendent.

Forgive me for not being quite caught up, but what is Black facing if he is charged and convicted? I presume the case against him is for providing the firearm to a 17 year old?
