Either this dude has a hunchback, needs to fix his suit, or get one that actually fits him because holy fucking shit that fucking back.

Anyone know the legality of a minor buying a weapon as a gift for a friend for them to hold it in trust until they are a major. @AnOminous quoting you since your the only farmer I'm aware of who claims to be a lawyer.

Chauvin's in jail though...
Good question for Andrew Branca. I'd assume possession means physical control in this case, but make the slightest mistake about gun ownership and you're screwed. In any event, Rittenhouse was in physical control and therefore possession of this weapon.

Also no I do not claim to be a lawyer.

McGinnis is the best hope for this, he's not only an eyewitness and a journalist but is a 'conservative' , ie a partly cucked boomertard. Still sympathetic to Kyle and about the best you could hope for as a witness in the circumstances. He might point out the obvious about Kyle being kind of not-smart, but if his prior statements and subsequent interviews are anything to go by he's going to lay it clear that 1) Kyle fled conflict 2) Got cornered 3) Was 0.1 seconds from having his rifle snatched before he fired.

He could literally end up being the keystone of the entire defense.

First, I love how they can't find the time or resources to file charges of arson and rioting against all the people the fucked up Kenosha but can try to fuck over this kid.

Secondly, does nobody have competent counsel in this town?
a deal can be made pending the outcome of the case. so there's no deal yet, but there's always a chance of one. if there was a deal made before kyle's trial, it would tank his credibility as a witness.

It really makes me suspicious. It could be just personality conflicts. Barnes is a bit contentious. But still.
He's successful and smart. Its good to have people pushing a different viewpoint while still trying to accomplish the same goal. Then there is the whole legal fund drama that has been playing out and hold crap...

what's barnes claim to fame? wesley snipes tax case? he got a big boost from the trump shit but i'm weary of any lawyer that does weekly media rounds.

Are prosecutors inept these days? This shit happened in the Chauvin case as well where the prosecutor's witnesses were making the defense's case for them. Don't they coach their witnesses regarding what to say and not say?
Yes the prosecution are more emblematic of kids who instead of studying law spend their time on reformative justice ie become political prosecutors vs actual legal prosecutor's.
it's a political trial, chuavin got reamed despite the fact. kyle will be the same as well.

less there's a christmas miracle.
I mean unlike with the chauvin trial outside of the blue pilled lefties who just watch tyt and CNN/MSNBC on repeat most people with eyes can see that it was self defense.
Contrast this with the Derek chauvin trial where the propaganda of him kneeling on the dudes neck had been out for weeks before any evidence came out that could have exonerated him.

Basically if you watched fox news on repeat chauvin was supposed to get off and if you watch MSNBC on repeat Kyle is supposed to be found guilty. I very much think that Kyle will get off especially as his testimony and case and all the evidence just favors him.

With chauvin he had his knee on the neck of Floyd and riots already basically scared everyone into compliance.

In this case, he allegedly had an all-star lineup of expert witnesses.

I'm sure I am biased, but I think Kyle's counsel is doing well so far.

I mainly know him from that and Rackets' show. He's mainly criminal tax defense so far as I know, which is still criminal law, but pretty distant from murder.

he has an easily navigable site that summarizes his major accomplishments

I'm not seeing any faults other than the hard-r/soft-a.

Did barnes actually say what his expert witnesses would testify to? could be a great way to send some of that legal fund to his friends. In chauvin's case there's a lot of medical hooha, but in this case it's kid shoots guys. i doubt they need a ballistics expert.

Seems like tax shit. which is different from murder, assault, dv, and the like.

e: as the election shit went down, I stopped watching barnes because his predictions and remedies weren't playing out. the courts weren't playing along wtih any of the suits and nothing he threw out as a solution would've worked.
