Did the Feds really just withhold evidence from the defense when requested and claim that the "tape" no longer exists when I'm sure they've got backups of that file all over the place. Surely this isn't legal, but since when do glowies play by the rules?

The argument that Kyle's friend was a straw purchaser when he bought Kyle's AR is fucking retarded. It would actually have been a straw purchase if Kyle filled out the 4473 since his friend was the "actual buyer."
I'm thinking the prosecution is intentionally sandbagging so when the jury comes out with a guilty verdict in 30 seconds it'll be more demoralizing to anyone who thinks this is a real trial.
There's more detail in the HD version, Which may or may not be anything useful for anyone. But without being able to see it, Who knows if it is useful?
I know it's already been said, but it bears repeating: Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent.
Kyle and others were attempting to put out fires that arsonists set in dumpster battering rams, using portable fire extinguishers. This led to an altercation where Joseph Rosenbaum, a mentally ill pederast and registered sex offender, pursued Kyle through a parking lot while cursing and throwing things at him. Someone fired their pistol into the air behind Kyle, and this caused him to feel threatened, whereupon he turned and shot Rosenbaum in the head with his rifle. He circled back around to check the casualty, and then phoned someone to tell them that he'd just killed someone. Then, he began retreating towards the police line.
Anthony Huber, a man with a history of domestic violence, closed in on Kyle from behind and attempted to hit him with his skateboard. Kyle tripped and fell, and a struggle ensued, wherein Kyle's sling allowed him to retain control of his weapon and prevented him from being disarmed. He shot Anthony Huber in the chest, and he promptly collapsed.
Then, Gaige Grosskreutz, a man with a long rap sheet including burglary and DUIs, approached Kyle while he was still on the ground with his hands in the surrender position. Then, he drew a pistol and attempted to shoot Kyle, who displayed much quicker reflexes when he turned and shot Gaige in the arm. At point-blank range, the 5.56x45mm NATO round was still traveling at near muzzle velocity and it fragmented, wounding him severely and blowing out a big chunk of his arm.
All three men pursued Kyle with intent to do him harm. All three got exactly what they deserved.
Yeah and Cahill told Nelson there was grounds for an appeal. How's that going for Chauvin?
People don't seem to fucking understand this: it doesn't matter what the evidence is anymore. Reality doesn't matter. Facts are irrelevant. People don't see them. There is no such thing as truth to people anymore.
The Jury candidates themselves fucking said it yesterday:
"Would evidence change your opinion?"
"No"; they said, and then they left the courtroom.
This is the world we live in now. It doesn't fucking matter to people what the truth is.
You want to know what would have helped Rittenhouse in this fucking sham of a trial? He should have gotten a fucking bLACK lawyer.
That's the only thing these stupid dumb fucks care about anymore. They care about optics, public opinion, they care about what people around them will think, they care about what will happen to the city and their homes if they "choose wrong".
They can't see the facts anymore, they can't see the evidence. All they can see is blind terror.
The Defense shocked me today when their opening statement contained roughly 40 pieces of evidence, initially I thought it was a strange move, but the presentation was solid and clearly they felt it was important to get ahead of the narrative. That just goes to show you how powerful the narrative is now over the facts.
But unfortunately, I'm not sure the Jury can see the facts anymore. It looks good to us because we can see the evidence, but we're clearly the minority. The Jury doesn't see the evidence. They can't see it.
Derek Chauvin's heart was too small. That was the prosecutions closing statement. That will be the same narrative-based statement this prosecution will use, and it will fucking work.
Rittenhouse was a bloodthirsty tourist, he hated bLACK lives matter and was a White supremacist.
Welcome to the new fucking world. Stop looking at it the old way. The facts don't fucking matter, and we are in hell.

Kyle Rittenhouse yawns frequently during opening statements at his murder trial as attorneys portray him as ‘chaos tourist’ and selfless, naive teenager
As Rittenhouse fled the scene, he shot both Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz when they tried to stop him. Richards said they attacked his client “like animals.”
There is no way that the number of journalists reporting honestly on this trial numbers even in the double digits. Every article reads like this, intentionally distorting the facts, like they were all written by the same slimy hand.
Quality journalism from terrifying ghoul Christy Gutowski. It looks like that photo was taken about 5 seconds after Quaid started the reactor.

The photographer of those great photos has declared that Huber threw/hit Kyle with his skateboard and knocked him down. He is by far the best witness, unaffiliated with anyone, with fantastic photographic evidence to back up most of his story. That they chased Rittenhouse, knocked him down, and then mobbed him, beating him with a skateboard and jumping on top of him, is the most accurate and reliable account of what transpired. Another hit of that skateboard and he could have been dead. Another second delay with his rifle and Grosskreutz would have murdered him. Rittenhouse is entirely just in protecting himself from all of his attackers that night.
The argument that Kyle's friend was a straw purchaser when he bought Kyle's AR is fucking exceptional. It would actually have been a straw purchase if Kyle filled out the 4473 since his friend was the "actual buyer."
Is there evidence of a form 4473? Wisconsin is one of the few states that I know of which still has the gun show loophole for any firearm. This means as long as both parties are Wisconsin residents, they can sell guns to each other as easily as baseball cards.

Kyle really probably would have been better off if he had unloaded on grosstits. The disciple he showed was excellent but it really is better to shoot to kill if you do have to shoot.
I think they said that less because it's what they actually believe and more because they knew it would get them excused from having to be on this jury.
