The unfortunate reality is probably just that she hadn't done the research. Hamsters are notoriously demanding pets, but owners are often permitted to own one with little to no knowledge of how to take proper care of one, and pet stores are more than happy to enable them with bad cages, dangerous toys, and no advice.

I'll spare you the details of running off everything that was wrong, but it's not really Rosemi's fault that this is such a dreadfully common occurrence. Apparently she held onto it for two hours thinking it was just hibernating and needed warmth. That shit was really fucking difficult to stomach.


In brighter news, everyone got together to wish Reimu a happy birthday. Pretty much all of them were in the call at the same time (Elira may have dipped before Petra joined I think) so it was a nice opportunity to get a feel for all of them together.

It was a lot more feelsy than these streams usually are but not without its funny moments. Nina was really pleasant to listen to as well. I hope this is the start of Reimu making up some of her lost ground.

Pretty sure Hamsters are notorious for being shit pets that die for no reason. I think i remember reading a thread somewhere of very stupid ways their hamster died. Remember someone farted once and the hamster had a heart attack. Someone dropped a book on the floor and the hamster which was about 10 ft away just died. Another one had their hamster go underneath the fridge for about a week. It came out without any hair all fucked up looked at its owner and just died.


Im confused, why the "lost ground" on Reimu? Hasn't she been super active streaming mostly every day and doing a bunch of collabs with her senpai?

Good. I really like her singing and she would greatly benefit from being better at communicating in english. Don't think a month will be enough though.

Chocolate dipped potato chips are legit though (never had fries)

I don't generally like sweets in but some good salty/sweet combo is really nice. It's like chocolate pretzels, it's not like the potato portion of chips has much flavor, so what you're getting is salt, chocolate, and crunchy texture. and it just works.

Salted caramel is the bomb too. just in small does because eating very much candy/sweets just makes me feel sick.

I think Reimu is not the best at self-promotion and doesn't really stand out immediately, especially in solo streams. Her personality just isn't as attention-grabbing as the gremlins Millie and Enna or Nina with her mommy-shtick (like it or not, it is pretty distinctive). She also comes off as being a bit less experienced with live streaming than most of the other ENs, though I'll admit this may not be the case as I was not overly familiar with her PL activity beyond her (very good) covers. I do know that she had started vtubing, but idk for how long.

Reimu is my favorite Ethyria member, but I'll admit that she's not the kind of vtuber who immediately stands out. She's more of the chill type streamer. She's more energetic in collabs, where she tends to play a bit of the straight man to her genmate's antics. She's a really good singer too, but somewhat overshadowed by Enna due to Enna coming out with an original song so early. Even Millie, who I'd rate below Reimu as a singer, would come off as more of a musical talent based on their debuts alone due to her having two original songs during her debut. Meanwhile Reimu just did a karaoke song.

Overall I'm not really worried about Reimu's popularity. Like it or not someone has to be last, and mentally speaking she comes off as someone who can handle that better than most. I also think she'll continue to grow, especially once more people notice her singing.

Based choice, all her streams have been top tier so far.

I agree though, Reimu's singing is great but Enna especially is just on another level so the ghost got a little overshadowed. Hopefully the cover song she announced during her birthday stream shows people who haven't seen her as much how good she is.
