It must have really hurt NM ego seeing Nexpo take his schtick, make it more marketable and reaching 1mil subs before him.

I'm sure it keeps him awake at night. Imagine throwing a massive bitch fit on twitter calling someone your copycat (Because of course Nick invented having a deep voice and talking about ARGs on youtube) and coercing them to rebrand their entire channel, only for them to go mainstream and quickly become four times bigger than your channel. Karma's a bitch.

Which is a shame because some of his older content like This House, even the faggy DHMIS puppet show (where he showed the beginnings of his new condescending persona) and wham city's work/alan resnicks was decent, could never get into everymanhybrid or whatever but that was decent


For what it was, i thought it was kinda entertaining when he ripped into the convoluted or shitty args like Wyoming or Jack Torrence even if the latter was mean spirited as fuck, would rather have that over him selecting the most safest ARG picks and then fellating himself for covering them

My biggest issue is how he tackles the liminal spaces part. Am I the only one who just doesn't them scary at all? Like, yeah, some of them are kinda creepy, I guess, but they're not this unholy terror like he portrays them as.

Milking content is one of the biggest issues with these channels.

Luckily for them, what I can only assume are zoomers eat their dumb shit up (le spooky empty place picture, le spooky missing person's old pic, etc).

There's a good chance this girl was never found, or was found dead. I know KiwiFarms isn't the place to moralfag, but imagine having your disappearance be remembered by the Internet as the "creepy AI generated girl".

And the morons behind Canal 5 Twitter using this girl as a viral marketing thing.

And using that video of that person who mixes her picture with a fucking cat and a minion. Classy as always, as usual for these channels. I'll take the hats.

Shit, I have a lot of gripes with Night Mind. His condescending attitude, his pretentiousness, his way of talking as if he's the only smart guy in the room, really fucking annoying.
But for me, the worst is how he has developed a bad taste in horror media. He praises some legit awful ARGs, like that one where the dude pretended to be a murderer (I can't remember the name, it was something weird), Night Mind praised the guy's acting but if you watch it, you'll see how shit it is. Or when he made a video about the Wyoming Incident ARG and went "THEY ASKED PLAYERS TO DO SOME SERIOUSLY MESSED UP STUFF THAT COULD HARM YOU FOREVER" and if you go look at it, they just ask you to imagine spooky things in a dark room.
Won't even mention the mess that his DHMIS video was, with him self-inserting his own shit in the middle of the video.
Anyway, dude's a mess and could've still been at the top of Youtube horror if he had only learned how to be normal.

In another news, I think people already talked about FoxAkimbo in the thread, but I decided to check some of his Iceberg videos (because I hate myself) and holy fuck, the guy straight up does not do research. He even admits that he won't be looking for some stuff because it's too messed up in his "Do Not Research NSFW Iceberg" video. If you aren't able to research and talk about a subject, then why the fuck are you dong a video about it, you moron?

Even though I've stopped NM's new uploads because they've become shit, I still go back from time to time and rewatch his older vids on the big 3 Slenderman series, This House Has People In It, and Alantutorial, they're great to have playing in the background, especially since they were from before he became as retarded as he is today

Yeah Nightmind's older videos are much better. Though one thing that baffles me about NM is how he doesn't seem to realize that no one gives a shit about his SCP videos or any of the short films as well as his dumb website he made (aside from people who want to promote their projects). His retardation really stems from him being a pretentious hipster who would whine how some things are too mainstream while sucking off indie shit.

I'm okay with having clocks thrown at me. That last Nexpo vid was some of the most low-effort shit I've ever seen him put out. I think it may be time to retire the "Disturbing Things" series, or at least put videos less often until he finds more content. The liminal spaces and spooky picture shit are somewhat interesting, but calling them "disturbing" and talking about them for 15 fucking minutes each is a massive stretch and I think even he knows that.

I like that guy. He's into all this spooky shit but he's a swell fellow none the less. Christian, Sunday school teacher, always thanks his fans and is very gracious that people watch and support him.

I don't even like scary shit, but I find myself watching his videos pretty regularly. And he's a hunk. I'm not a faggot, but I'd guarantee probably 70% of his fans are female. He's a good looking dude. He has a confidence and a good nature that is contagious.
