If Reddit is worried, that's a good sign.
It seems to me that now we're getting into the meat of the trial prosecution is reeeeeeeeeeeeeally grasping at straws, which I'm pretty sure we all knew Binger would be doing anyways.
The thing about dooming is that it's precisely what TPTB want you to do. Propaganda is not meant to convince you of its own merits, but to make you think you are alone, driving you to despair and learned helplessness.

Clown World took major blows this week. Have a little faith.

This is why I remain cautiously optimistic. Pros doesn't have the slam-dunk they need for a conviction, so they need to play cute little games. Kyle has the law, the facts, the evidence, and the support of nearly half the voting population.

I can't tell if you're serious or shitposting.
im serious in that they were saying "the jury is functioning on the reptilian level" yesterday.

They were worried on Chauvin too and that was more-or-less a wrap for them on day 1.

No yeah, realistically I wouldn’t want him in that situation to begin with. From what I’ve heard he’s apparently sick with guilt over all of it, which makes sense. I genuinely think he’s a good kid.
I know Barnes is a polarizing person in this thread but even he talked about how distraught Kyle was after he turned himself in. I remember all the people who laughed at Kyle when it came out that he cried for days while he was in jail though their reasoning for laughing was at the delight in how much ass raping Kyle was going to be receiving. The way people have described Kyle I wouldn't be surprised if he walked himself to the gallows if they had allowed him to in those early days. I think he's a damn good kid who thought he was really making a difference. I fully believe the only real reason he brought his gun was to make others feel safe. Who's gonna start shit with someone with a rifle? Poor guy got a bad random encounter.

I just hope and pray that this whole ordeal doesn't turn him into a cynical poltard or convict.

They should make Ace Attorney: Kenosha Edition and just make it where you can only bumble through things and aren’t allowed to object ever even when the prosecutor lies constantly and abuses the process.

Richie McGuiness cross is going to be interesting as hell. He's basically a free defense witness you get to ask leading questions to.

Hopefully he's going to say Kyle had to shoot that guy, I'd have done the same thing. He was cornered and rosenbalm was trying to take his gun, everything he did was reasionsble. Concerned citizen Kyle just trying to put that fire out.

I remember saying the same shit for Chauvin. I know this trial is different on several levels, but we know that optics matter more to our system than facts and the letter of the law. The question is whether Kyle's optics are bad enough for that to be the case.

the judge is a big difference in this case. he's trying save the optics of the judicial branch. he wont let pross slide just becauae the political winds favor it.

Like I said, this is not Chauvin Part 2. Kyle has a lot more going for him. There was a 9-minute video of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck, and he was almsot universally despised. Nelson had to make a herculean effort to introduce reasonable doubt.

Yeah, Binger is a clever bastard, but you guys act like he can just Jedi-mind-trick the jury into voting to convict, facts be damned. All the optics are on Kyle's side.

Edit: and two of Binger's narratives, the "Kyle chased Rosy" and "shot Rosy in the back", have been deflated.

Do they?

That's a lawyer thing. There's this famous book about jurys where they say that they primarily function with the reptile part of their brains. All it really means is that they're emotional and tribal. Also that you really need to focus on building a simple narrative and getting everyone on board with it by either getting them emotionally hooked or making them part of Kyle's tribe.

You're right. I know I'm really strung out about this mess. Here is a kid who was in the right the whole time and every part of the judicial system, save for the judge, is trying to crush him and that makes me wanna minecraft in minecraft. I think I and a lot of people think the case against him is so weak that we have this thought that the case should already be over. I need to touch grass for a minute.

The big difference is that chauvin looked like a smug asshole in that video and Kyle looks like a scared kid that was trying to do the right thing.

I also think that what really fucked chauvin was the azn cop saying he can't get a pulse we need to move him and chauvin just being like "nope, fuck it". Kyle was trying to provide aid to everyone all night.

I'm just pointing out the reddit reaction is the same as here but in reverse and isn't a good indicator.
