Per this older news article, it looks like law enforcement from Maricopa County was looking into it. Maricopa was the same jurisdiction that handled his mace case. However, I will note that hate crimes can also be handled at the federal level and it is entirely possible that Maricopa managed the initial criminal complaint and then handed it over to the FBI. So I wouldn't be quick to call bullshit on the feds being the ones going after him, despite his propensity to embellish and outright lie if he can turn his alleged victim status into a grift.

He mentions something about it being something that Arizona would go after him for and not Florida and that they waited for his mace case to settle. Wow. Never heard of this guy before but thanks for showing me the light. I've definitely wondered before where the lives of streamers and dumbass criminals cross. Most of the stories don't have the people committing the actual crime on camera. This person is an excellent cow. I used to think the Baked tearing down the sign was a jerk move. But after the past couple of years of statues being torn down and in most cases charges are not being filed against the perpetrators in those crimes, why the fuck should I care about a $10 sign being torn down.
In any case, I think various prosecutors are playing a smart long game by allowing his easy convictions to be played out in court. By the time it comes to the January 6th charges, which I think are bogus, Baked will be too scared to challenge as the sentencing will bound to be harsh.
