I don't think she has any problems with sex, she just can't imagine that other people also delight in emotional sex with a close partner. "Bonding" through sex is not unique, or only wanting sex with someone you deeply care about, or not wanting to have casual sex without a relationship, but she has to pretend she's the first one to ever experience these things so she can be special.

But I also agree with an earlier comment that she's overkinked and chasing that arousal high with more and more fucked-up things as well.

I agree with both of these statements, but i don’t think Alyssa is really asexual. Asexuals were pretty rare before it became a tumblr fad, and now suddenly they’re everywhere. I think Alyssa is either A) saying she’s asexual for the same reason she says she’s plural. Because it makes her feel special, B) thinks she’s asexual for the same reason she thinks she’s non-binary/genderfluid/trans. Because there is so much misinformation and grooming and “cool kids club” mentality on the internet that she’s genuinely confused, or C) has never felt genuinely attracted to any of her sexual partners because they are all gross and/or selfish cunts like Bonbon, and who could be sexually attracted to that? But since being in a relationship fulfills an emotional need for her, and she’s too insecure to stay single and hold out until she finds a good partner, so she figures she must just not experience sexual attraction at all.

You're nor wrong at all. I doubt she's asexual in the slightest and believe the same as you do. The only other excuse I could think of is that she's taking drugs that nerfed her sex drive, but I don't think amy of them affect libido.

Pretty much any antidepressant (even at low levels) can nerf a person's sex drive and ability to/ease of orgasm iirc, it's one of the most common side effects of that category of drugs and probably another major factor behind how many tumblr loveshys are 'asexual'.
I would be very surprised if Alyssa isnt on some sort of medication in that category, though her being ~ace~ is just her standard label collecting.

Oh goody! We're getting closer to the fake pregnancy arc of the Alyssa/Paul saga. I knew this was coming.

It will be interesting to see if Paul wises up and uses condoms or if it will actually progress to a fake pregnancy / fake miscarriage episode or a fake pregnancy / GoFundMe for an abortion saga. She could actually try to get pregnant (but assuming she still has her IUD, not likely). Paul isn't going to want the responsibility of a rug rat, so that ploy isn't going to work on him. Besides, he's already married so she can't force a shotgun wedding.
