That poor sweet cat deserved so much better than to live out her days as a prisoner with no fresh air, no room to walk around, no interaction with the other cats for company, no clean and hygienic environment, and no dignity. I have a feeling she had been picking up on the increasingly-deranged energy in that toxic hellhole, and made a decision to get herself to a sterile vet clinic where she could go in peace and comfort.

I do too, but I'm sure I don't have to point out that Peetz could have at least helped her quality of life by standing up to Chantal, and allowing Timbit to leave his room the past year. He also could have at least kept his room nice, and opened windows for her if he just HAD to keep her locked in there. I'm glad that sweet girl is free in kitty heaven, I'm sure we all are.

Let's just hope BBJ isn't next. At least not any time soon.

BBJ was Peetz's cat too and I think if he heard her crying and Chantal wasn't there, he wouldn't leave her alone. He might not call Chantal, but I don't think he would ignore her. He has shown affection for the cat, and Sam too. At times Peetz has been nicer than she has been to the cats.
