If they dismiss it is there any chance that Kyle is just gonna get re-tried again with a more competent prosecution ?
If it's dismissed I think that would make it double jeopardy as it would mean the court had ruled there is no case against Kyle. It's different from a mistrial which means there was some procedure issue that makes the trial unfair, from what I'm to understand.

that would be the windfall of admitting to hiring unlicensed security that ended up killing someone
yeah. i think pedobaum would be the only one to have standing since he died on the lot by "hired guns".

i dont know what that'd look like for volunteer militia or if baum has other family looking to pursue actions. fiance doesnt count obviously.

Bench dismissal is an extraordinary action. No way the judge does that. Absolutely furthest he would go would be to declare a mistrial for "reasons"

I would assume he doesn't have family that cares about him since his meth addict fiance was his emergency contact.

I’m sure this has been asked but I remember during the chauvin trial there was a list of witnesses we could follow. Is this the case here as well? I’ve tried searching for one

"How did he get your cell phone number?"
"Dude, I'm a car salesman."
Does this clown even know the answers he's going to get when he asks a question? Because it's coming across like he is utterly baffled at the responses he's getting when it is rule one of direct examination that you don't ask a question you don't already know the answer to.

at this point it would probably be dismissed with prejudice seeing as a jury was already empaneled and the prosecution wasted everybody’s time. If the judge throws out the case due to prosecution not doing near enough to warrant a guilty verdict, they don’t get to try again.
