$ (BAT) Basic Attention Token

Speaking of which, sent another ~40 Lionbux your way. How do Brave do the BAT payouts btw, aren't they getting cucked by exceptional ERC20 transfer fees on Eth atm?

I believe BAT payments use platforms which bypass gas. My payouts are in cash.
Yesterday my buddy tried to move 41 BAT from uphold to coinbase and he said it wanted to charge 51 for the move and asked if he was doing it right. As a test i previewed moving 169 and it wanted to charge me 46. I told him to maybe just wait because maybe fees were high from everyone moving to sell after the pump. Null, if you dont mind my asking, do you cash out fiat from uphold or do you move it somewhere else and then sell? I think if you change to fiat on uphold you skip the tranfer fee and just pay the ~1% trade fee?

Yep, outside their fees you skip the gas fees by cashing out fiat through Uphold.

Trading volume is currently 150% of the market cap :stress:

Damn.... I was going to buy more BAT with memecoin gainz, but I hadn't got around to it

It's at the all time high holy shit (edit) or close to

ATH was $1.64 earlier in the year, so was still quite a far way off it. That was when there was real momentum when they updated their roadmap and crypto itself was going gangbusters. Wonder if there is some news coming out of brave soon.

Gemini went down for a number of hours and that is Braves partner now for linking your BAT your Gemini account to avoid Uphold. There was a direct link to in going back online to dropping back below $1.30.

I'm not enough into crypto (buy and hodl, don't trade) to understand why trade over a 24hr period would exceed market cap. Seen it happen with other coins and doesn't seem unusual. Is it algo trading?

Can confirm, I just sent $90 worth to my bank account and it only charged me $2.

holding onto the rest of my BAT in case it pumps more. If it hits $2 I'm selling the rest lol

It must be based on whether they actually use the Ethereum network to transfer the coins. Uphold probably holds all of Brave’s BAT and so it’s free to transfer between sites and cash out into Fiat as they’re just reallocating funds on their end without hitting the Eth chain.

Whereas when you want to send your BAT to Coinbase, or a private wallet, you’ll get cucked by retarded ETH fees atm. It would actually be cheaper to transact if they’d used native ETH or BTC rather than an ERC-20 token, but then they couldn’t premine and control issuance.

The smart contract fees are just generally an Ethereum issue atm, though.

I have 13.6 that I have earned purely from browsing for a little less than a year and 3.3 more coming in a couple days according to the brave tracker.

When do I become a millionaire?
Never. Brandon ich refuses to market brave or BAT at all. I am genuinely surprised that BAT is almost holding $1.00 from that last jump from .70.

please god just let it stay above $1

I don't know how to move some of them out of the damn wallet, same deal.

Uphold is being an absolute pain in the ass.

I think it's universal people have issues with uphold. I have never even tried taking my money out and accumulated a couple hundred dollars worth of BAT over time.

The thing that's weird about Brave is that they keep making new products like Brave talk and improving things, clearly putting in a lot of effort, but they don't fix the uphold issue and they don't market themselves

I did the move from uphold to Gemini and let me tell you uphold is just a mess if you want to move shit off it, what I ended up doing was turning my BAT to litecoin and then sending that over to Gemini lost about 10 bat doing that. It might be cheaper and easier to just cash out of uphold into dollars and then rebuy on Gemini.

BAT's really going off today after some stagnations. Probably won't last long, but it's nice to see. I'd like to move my BAT over to a different exchange but I find Uphold to be a bit confusing.

I also wanted to ask, has anyone else stopped receiving ads on desktop? I'm still getting them on mobile but I haven't gotten any on my desktop browser since about mid-October. I've checked my settings and everything and I'm still set up to receive ads.

BAT just spiked again. Last week when it spiked I dumped half of it and after it went back down I put that profit back into it. Just did it again. Easiest five grand I've ever made lol.
