If black people weren't allowed to vote anymore, the immediate and inevitable result would be massive gains for Republicans in all state and federal governments everywhere. Putting aside the fact that we have a constitutional amendment designed to guard against this kind of thing, it's just plain bad strategy. It's like if the Republican Party reacted to their own loss in New Jersey by proposing a ban on voting for everyone who lives outside the limits of a large city, because it's obviously those stupid, inbred hayseeds who didn't vote Republican enough.

See thing is, some do, if they have them. I have a white daughter, I vote to protect her. Understand this: white mothers love their children. You have successfully peeled off a number of white demonesses who enjoy coloring their hair blue and gelding their sons for social media stickers but that is not most white mothers. You cannot *shame us* for loving our kids. You cannot threaten me with Trump cooties until I agree that harming white kids is acceptable collateral damage in service of the glorious cause, and since I know they aren’t collateral damage at all but the actual *intended targets* of the damage, the damage is *baked in* because you’ve decided the only way to make black people feel good is to provide them a display of white suffering to enjoy, you can’t even lull me into sleeping on this.
