1.3 trillion dollars is not a drop in the pond it's over 1/30th of our national debt. If you're affecting apathy because you feel debt in fiat is ultimately meaningless I understand, but if their intentions are to keep this sinking currency afloat the last thing they should be doing right now is print even more dollars.

There are three infrastructure bills. The first one was really shit and couldn't get passed so it was trimmed down into this which still isn't great but at least it's not going to completely fuck the country. That crazy shit will be in the other bill they're voting on next week/the week after.

And I don't want to hear some copium-riddled bullshit about how this bill was different. After a certain amount, large increases don't really matter. If they were willing to vote on a $1.2T bill they'll be willing to vote on a $2.5T, $3.5T, etc bill.

I think that is one of the points everyone is forgetting. This bill was very overdue. I think they wanted this passed in September. Pelosi had to spend 2 months tard wrangling progressives because she had no margin for error. She is retiring so no one will be able to do this next year (or whenever.)

And people seem to have forgotten that the Build Back Better bill has to pass the senate so it is a different group of people there. The RINO'S that passed this won't be voting next time. Also McConnell already passed this bill in the Senate.

And it still has to go through reconciliation.
