Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Or getting people to put their faith in electric in areas where storms can cause outages throughout the year.
Even then electric companies can't be bothered to fix any broken issues in a hurry.

When Hurricane Sandy came and fucked up Long Island NY on Halloween, it took LIPA (now called PSEG) a month and a half to get everything up and running again. People were already pissed about gas shortages to where they had to wait on line in their cars for blocks and blocks, but the fact that not only some people would be missing out on Thanksgiving and possibly Christmas, but people were actually siphoning gas from other people's cars so they could have it for themselves. Eventually LIPA did get off their ass, but we had to ask other states' power companies to assist us. Now anytime a new house/apartment/office/etc. is built, it comes with a generator so the electric company can take their time fixing shit and not worry about the people that are running on generators.

I'm sure there's some back-door political fuckery that went on that explains all of this, but I haven't got a clue what it is.

Think about people who live in rural and remote areas. You think they're going to have charging stations dotted along every possible route so they can travel where they want?

I think the drive to electric is meant to reduce mobility. They intend for us to become bug eating serfs living in pods in gigantic mega citifies after all. The elimination of the internal combustion engine will leave millions of people without any means of cheap personal transportation. Say goodbye to the second hand car market, fixing up your own ride, getting a beater for your kid to go to school in. You will lease/rent your vehicle from Apple Car or Tesla/GM. Imbedded software will make the thing non repairable by anyone except franchised serviced technicians. Once it's past it's 7 year service life it will be taken in and scrapped because that's 'good for the environment'. If your social credit score dips below optimal or you forget to update your vaccination status sorry but we will have to suspend your car's bio-metric sensor key.
Have Hydrogen fuel cell cars gotten an pushing recently? Those would be more friendly to the environment and be able to be more "off the grid" than electric.

How exactly was it "theft"? What proof does the FBI have that Project Veritas literally broke the law to obtain this diary and why isn't that the first thing mentioned by NYT?

On another note, what is it exactly about members of Biden's families loosing things containing a lot of their private information?

Edit :

Also on another note, didn't Mary Trump leak/divulge personal records of the orange-man and yet nothing (so far as we know) was done to her?
Stealing a book is a misdemeanor. Imagine going to your local police station and filing a report that your diary had gone missing. "Um sure, we'll get right onto that. Let me call up Justice to launch a FBI investigation and convene a grand jury".

How are they justifying it? It can't possibly be on the basis of a simple theft. So I imagine those darn Russian agents are at it again. Those guys are everywhere.

Off the grid? Why are you wanting to be 'off the grid', subject? We at the government want to take care of you, and we know what's best for you, even if you don't. We'll hear no more of 'off the grid'.

Qanon hasn't even posted for nearly a year iirc.

More like communist hungry.

The poor don't have to buy electric cars. Why would you want to even own a car? Or anything for that matter? The poor can be shepherded into their (well, it doesn't belong to them, but you get the idea) pods, where they will own nothing and they'll be happy. If they want to go anywhere, they can take public transportation (don't forget to wear your mask! Maybe they can make vaccines mandatory for that!) if they want to go from one end of their smart city to the other (poors can't travel into the countryside since that would cause climate change!).
If these people had their way the future wouldn't be self-driving electric cars for the plebs. It's shit tier public transport for most people, rideshares for whatever passes for the middle class at that point and then the bugman wet dream self driving cars for the sociallly and environmentally conscious elite.

I don't care what the punishment of stealing a book is. I want proof theft actually happened.

The rage at this bill is a little overinflated. I'm not saying this isn't giving a win to Democrats when they need it, or that the RINOs aren't bitch made to the uniparty.

But this isn't the Democrats wishlist of a dozen Hail Marys they need to stay afloat after the most visible election theft in 50(100?) years. This is a bill Bitch McConnell signed off on. It's uniparty swamp shit. Doesn't mean it doesn't stink, but it's the kinda shit that'd get passed no matter who was in charge. It's like Israel extortion cash, only not nearly as urgent.

What's telling is, it took Nancy Pelosi 3 months to get a uniparty agreed upon bill passed. The Republican Elite we're already behind this bill, and Nancy had to use some sort of capital to get them to make up for her own party short comings to push it through.

They aren't getting shit after this, all the Democrat pie in the sky dream legislative destruction is over. And McConnell is probably going to bleed them until next November.

All states that have exposure to hurricanes on the reg, cut deals to transfer linesmen to the effected areas. After a hurricane in Florida you can see linesmen from NC and farther.
As I recall, after Sandy, linesmen near New York State started over, but were told to fuck off unless they were union.
You fags waited because your local unions wanted keep all the overtime for their members.

Jokes on them, I'm buying mules and learning how to drive a wagon.

Go ahead, fucking laugh at me. But you know what, I'll learn to drive a fucking wagon, take care of mules, and say 'fuck it' before I go to electric or leave the Midwest hicksville.

Besides, if they turn the bug-hives to electric, and the semis to electric, gas will drop or I'll just drive mules.

Redistricting update...

Hopefully everyone partied responsibly after the victory this week.

Arkansas has passed it's new map, which took French Hill's Trump leaning 2nd district and shored it up by splitting Pulaski County. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-Cuck) has refused to sign it citing concerns that it doesn't respect minority communities, but, he won't veto it meaning it will pass into law without his signature after a longer period allowing Democrats more time to sue.

Republicans in North Carolina have passed a new map. It is a 10R-3D-1SW map. Democrats are already crying about the VRA, but as a Republican is Chief Justice of NC Supreme Court, he can slow walk the processes to 2022, when the courts narrow Dem majority is up for reelection.

Iowa passed its maps. It's....less than ideal. Iowa redistricting is wonky, with a commission and rules that are heavily parochial. Essentially they shored up one district but it and the two others are still only marginal Trump seats while the fourth is a Republican vote sink. Still, it's better than the commission gave them.

In Alabama, Republicans passed new districts with a least changes map. The black VRA district was expanded as it bleed allot of people. Democrats are suing because the VRA district packs too many (in their opinion) back voters in. While it's nice to Dems admit that the VRA's original purpose is no longer valid ie black candidates can win in the South just fine as long as they aren't tied to a Socially Liberal party, this reeks of sour grapes.

On the horizon, more things loom. Montana's commission looks to be advancing a 2R map, which will be a +1 for the GOP to offset Oregon's new district that Dems gerrymandered themselves. New Mexico Dems are debating whether to go for three Dem seats. Currently the southern NM seat is a Trump +10 seat that they won in 2018 and immediately lost in 2020. Oklahoma has begun it's process, with indications that it will shore up the OKC district Kendra Horn won in 2018 and lost in 2020. In New Hampshire, Republican's have unveiled a bold map that would cede NH 2 in order to solidify NH1 as a GOP district.

That's why I'm in the Midwest. They're never going to get off their asses and turn these small towns into bughives. With the farms around here and the local Amish populations this area can stay self-sufficient if their plans ever come to pass.

Near me within a few weeks they built an electric car recharge station across from one of the supermarkets, and even before that, I found a few of them located at a parking lot in Khols, of all places.
If you're talking about the Tesla charging stations, Tesla's paying companies to build the things on their property. There's a few perpetually empty ones where I'm at that were built precisely for Tesla kickbacks.

What does that matter when you have 13 Republicans ready and willing to jump over and save their bacon?

Well, more to save the economy's bacon. Except for Murk. She's voted for non-economic, PC shit despite holding a blood red seat.

Mitch did the right thing and saved the country from Democrat incompetence, his reward was Schumer and Biden dragging him on fucking television.

Needless to say he won't be saving them again. Not that he should have to, they control everything.
