You just know deep down, the only reason he hasn't conceded the election days after every desk called the election and newspapers ran a bunch of stories about his opponent's win, is because he is fucking INDIGNENT that a hick, a prole, a common man beat him without needing any connections. No article that I know of from any big media outlet has even mentioned that the result is in dispute, and as far as I know the hypothetical 12,000 ballots have still not been counted or included in the results. Electoral fortification as we have seen it needs to be accompanied by at least some media coverage, so they can set the narrative before or as it's happening. But there's none of that. What this is, it seems to me, is a seasoned swamp politician absolutely seething because he lost.

If we push harder and harder for better tech, we have to also push harder and harder for more freedom to use it. This way we aren’t stuck with short range garbage because he who solves the ability to go “free range” first also holds the keys to the biggest pile of money ever.

This is why I have socialism with a passion. It literally punishes anyone that even tries to come up with this type of tech but rewards those that want to attach a slave contract to having a decent life.

There's a problem to all of this, which isn't discussed often enough:

When we have electric cars, more nuclear reactors, more effecient ways of storing and creating energy, how do we as a society, keep those items with an extremely high potential energy, out of the hands of people who would do us harm?

How would the west build enough nuclear/hydrogen/SALT reactors to propel itself forward in terms of technology, stop, hinder or ban the use of the same technology in other countries? How could we build a vehicle that could travell 100's, if not 1000's of miles on a single 'charge' or hydrogen cartridge, while selling them to the public, but stop someone using that vehicle as a weapon?

we can't. That's why we are where we are. Until humanity either; locks large parts of the planet behind walls, learns to live in peace and harmony or is under a united, global authorotarian regime, we will never, ever, advance to the next stage of technology.

You'd think that, but realize that the rank and file of the movement aren't aiming to reduce everyones quality of life - They genuinely believe that they can just have everyone owning a Tesla or equivalent just by mandating it and everything will work out. And the elites don't actually have a vested interest in less vehicles, or even much to do with the environment - They have the wealth to be insulated from it, and actively lose from reduced consumerism.

The elites are interested in so far as they can get mass government subsidies for RnD and development while soaking up wokepoints, and the rank and file cannot comprehend that these are objectively worse for the average person in almost every regard.

Remember, The vast majority of environmentalists seem to operate on some weird inability to comprehend multi-level issues. They see a solar panel, don't see it giving off emissions, and conclude its a perfectly clean energy source. They see a nuclear power plant, and see it giving off a few kilograms of highly dangerous but easily controlled waste, and freak the fuck out. They can't fathom the concept of lithium salts or the immense chemical runoffs presented by production of electric vehicles, they just see a Tesla with no exhaust pipe and conclude that is the greenest option. Its consumerist environmentalism, and that lack of understanding means they'll gladly back it all the way to hell.

My biggest fear is that we will find a solution that works better than the other options only for some blue-haired beached whale and her pet screeching retards destroying it because they weren’t involved in the process, so it must be pure evil. Flatbed trucks instead of cars, sure. Those will already have the size to accommodate the generator and wood, plus you can use them to carry cargo around, which is what you’ll be looking for if you’re going that route anyway.
