Just thinking back to Sky and Bonbon's wedding photos, it always seemed like sky was happy even if a little exceptional looking, and Bonobo's face was one of just apathy or perhaps unhappiness, while later photos after meeting Alyssa were the first time I actually saw a picture where he looked happy. Anyone else wonder if he was just gay because Sky was the first person who paid any attention to him and he couldn't land any girls?

We're not supposed to cheer for the tranchers but this is why I cheer on sky to at least find another partner. Imagine marrying someone you were happy to be with, looked forward to working with them for a long term loving partnership, and then they dump you because you couldn't fulfill how much they wanted to fuck pussy and they're bored of you. He's exceptional like all tranchers but he seems like he was trying with both the tranch and Bonnie, and until otherwise revealed he deserves someone to be with who actually wants a partner like him.

However, whether Paul faked his happiness with Sky or not, he's still a scumbag for ditching Sky and making him believe he actually cared at all. If you're going to treat a person like a living sex doll, at least have the common courtesy to tell them they're nothing more than that to you before you put a ring on their finger.

Pretty much any antidepressant (even at low levels) can nerf a person's sex drive and ability to/ease of orgasm iirc, it's one of the most common side effects of that category of drugs and probably another major factor behind how many tumblr loveshys are 'asexual'.
I would be very surprised if Alyssa isnt on some sort of medication in that category, though her being ~ace~ is just her standard label collecting.

A lot of people fall behind then get ahead again, especially in the first two weeks, since many NaNo participants can't block out time every day to write, but can manage one good session a week plus odd bits of time on other days. They're employed and have kids and lives that get in the way of sitting at a computer and typing. Alyssa doesn't have that particular limitation/excuse.

(This is my first year since 2009 to not participate. Had no ideas on hand worth exploring for 50k words)

No offense to you specifically of course but I just don't see the point in that. It's meant to be a daily challenge to train you to write on a frequent basis. If you're just writing whenever you feel like/whenever you're able, the way you usually do, you can do that anytime of the year. But that's just my onion.

Regardless of my unsolicited opinion on that aspect though, Alyssa doesn't do anything all day except sit on Twitter and raid foodbanks so she doesn't have the excuses that regular people have, which is more why it occurred to me really. Writing would actually be close to a productive use of her time since it's a good exercise for the brain, even if it's stupid werewolf-lesbian-tripe, but she'd rather rapid-fire posts on Twitter and have "asexual bonding time" with Bonnie.

Spoiler: OT NaNo sperging

A daily target does help a lot of people get writing, and is a very important part of NaNo. However - and this is important for less confident/disciplined writers - it's important not to get too fixated on daily word count. So many people have a single bad writing day and start stressing about missing the count and "catching up" that it winds up slowing them down or getting them to drop out of the challenge for the year all together.
The big thing is the end goal - 50k words of a rough as a badgers arse novel on screen by midnight, Nov 30th. Whether you write 1600 words per day, or 200 words per day Mon-Fri and 15K every Sunday, it doesn't matter. I do say though that you really have to write something every day. Even if it's only a single scene or dialogue.

Yep. Has the time to write. Has a decent enough range of experiences with people. Going to grant her that she certainly has an imagination, though I'm a wee bit dubious if she has enough empathy to write people, not cardboard cutouts.
And she instead attention wanks on Twitter. She's a bit of a waste of space, really.

So I had a slow day and since no one replied to my hint that someone should check into her care and dog sitting site, I decided to do it myself.

Results were disappointing.

Couldn't find her on CARE. I went through like 15 pages of people and didn't see her pop up. I stopped once the search range started getting farther and farther away from her dox. There were only like 2 accounts with no photos, but I doubt that was her. So either I'm doing it wrong or her account is inactive.

The dog one requires you to put in your payment into before you're able to post an ad. I didn't bother because it seems like you don't actually get to see prospective clients accounts, they just bid on your ad or something. I didn't want to put in my info nor did I feel right about getting a legitimate person's hopes up.

So yeah.
Total failure.

But inb4 she claims she lost income due to canceling her accounts because of us damn new Zealand stalkers
