I think if Jaron breaks free mentally and comes to terms with what happened to him, speaking out about how he is angered and sad he was used to do this to other children too, that could actually be the biggest blow to transing children.

So the tragedy of Jaron could end up being a US version of Kiera Bell and the Tavistock clinic? Figures that we would get it via psycho reality show while Bongland gets it via legal drama and a stoic, well-spoken woman with a stiff upper lip.
If something happens to prevent more kids from going through what he went through, that would mean some good came out of this mess.
That being said, Kiera Bell comes across as really intelligent and insightful, and Jazz is. . . . not Kiera Bell.

I think the puberty blockers have left him too exceptional for any of that, but maybe he could do early child development and go into childcare? I'm not knocking those people, but it's more accessible than programming or bio.

Jazz would be dreamily staring off into space talking about mermaids and psychic hotlines while the kids would be getting glue in their hair and gleefully sticking forks into outlets. Also he's massively emotionally fragile and would probably cry if one of his young wards called him a transphobic slur like "booger face" or committed a hate-crime like asking "why is your belly so big?"
Plus, a lot of childcare is physical and Jazz can barely move.
Put this dude in charge of 20 pre-schoolers, it would be a bloodbath.

Jazz was never allowed to mentally age past a child. Even if he did break out of the tranny cult, which would be incredibly difficult considering his entire family, TLC tard wranglers and "friends" are all in on it, his stunted brain would struggle to articulate himself on the issue. If/when Jazz commits 41% transphobia will be blamed and he will be made a martyr for the cause. Nothing will be learned from this horrific ordeal of an abusive parent and a 3 year old boy who was groomed forced into cutting off his penis. We live in hell. Not Olympians, but the siblings of kids who are really into or really good at sports might be good comparisons.
In my personal experiences, you're right about the struggle to find their own hobbies and interests. There's also this element of sibling rivalry that complicates it all.
Let's say sibling A and sibling B attend the same school, and B is really good at volleyball or something. It's very common for A to try a lot of different sports looking for "What I'm good at" because they are searching for something where they can perform at the same perceived level. It becomes less about what they actually enjoy and more about trying to find their own "thing".

Spoiler: Some case studies I've seen firsthand

Case 1. Elder sibling of a star athlete constantly tried different sports, never did well at any of them, ended up with a shitty attitude in high school. I don't blame them, though, all the family's attention went to the younger one and the eldest loved them so it became this weird "I can't get jealous so I'll just be bitter" thing.

Case 2. Kid was always picking up and putting down new interests because she wanted their dad's attention. The dude never came to the school to pick them up or anything, but apparently he made the kid think that she just didn't have the discipline to stick with any given hobby like her siblings. It was clear to everyone else she was just trying to find an activity her dad would do with her.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with @Sinner's Sandwich. If Jazz ever does escape, he'll have a short period of time where he does really well. The honeymoon phase of freedom, if you will. He might post less on social media, try to make some non-LGBT friends, and start developing important life skills. The Kiwis will cheer and be happy, wishing Jazz all the best, hoping he gets his shit together.

But he won't. If he "breaks free," it'll come with the crushing realization that something about his family is fucked up, especially if he makes any relatively normal friends and sees what a family with non-narc parents is like.

He won't have the emotional maturity to understand it or articulate how his childhood fucked him up. He'll just have these nebulous feelings of anger, frustration, and resentment. Therapy won't help, because they'll just affirm that Jazz being butchered as a minor was a good thing and never get to the real root of his trauma.

Then, he'll crumble, just like Venus. Maybe he'll eat himself to death. Maybe he'll take up drinking. Fuck it, maybe he'll slide into hard drugs to cope with the public shitshow that is his life.

No matter how you slice it, this won't end well.

I don't think the Jennings would try to troon out more kids: it's more like they would be unable to content any natural autism that kids have.

Say, a kid tells them "I wanna be an elephant!" and I can see them looking for ways to indulge on this rather than do what most normal parents would do, entertain them for a moment until the kid forgets what s/he said.

This behaviour is not exclusive to the Jennings, though. Seems like a lot of modern parents think that telling your kid "no" will completely broke them mentally because they really don't know how to deal with them as most modern child psychologists don't know either.

I’m glad you reminded me, I remember that episode of South Park, where Gerald Brovlofsky went to Dr. Biber for the dolphinoplasty, or whatever the procedure was.

Ironically, that’s related to Jazz, because the same Dr. Biber that was mocked by South Park was the trainer / sensei or whatever to Dr. Marci Bowers…now I’m seeing how it all comes together.

On a related note, I would love to see a South Park show about Jaron. I think Matt and Trey would get a ton of props if they would write that up and make an episode!
