In this video you can see how two people tell the cameraman that someone in the crowd has died and how he does absolutely nothing, despite having a walkie-talkie in his pants.

This is one time when cancel culture would come in clutch. People need to find out who this fucking ding dong was and make sure he’s held accountable for gross negligence. Same goes for the other guy who was nearby that threatened to push the girl off the platform into a dangerous crowd. Fuck these two dudes. They’re just as responsible as anyone else, maybe even more so considering the fact that they had radios and the ability to get a message to someone who could shut down the concert.
I knew these idiots would come out of the woodwork. The amount of people I’ve seen on Instagram/Tiktok talking about how this is satanic is too damn high. And then you click on their profile because surely they’re living a pure Christian lifestyle to be making such accusations…. Nope. Most of them are shaking their ass on camera, listening to music by other people that sound exactly like Travis Scott etc. I don’t really give a fuck what people do but the hypocrisy and low IQ responses I’ve seen are wild.
As others have said, people are saving this was a satanic sacrifice like this is the first time they’ve ever seen this kind of imagery or behavior. Pop culture is absolutely full to the brim with this shit but nobody brings it up until something like this happens. They otherwise consume media with the exact same subtext no problem whatsoever. Now everyone’s suddenly a devout follower of Jesus lol
Idk man I've been in probably 40+ mosh pits over the last decade and in pretty much every one the second someone so much as stumbles he's hauled up by his collar and pushed away from the pit to safety. Usually by the biggest dude in the mosh.
Maybe at the really big festivals that's more of a problem, but metalheads are usually pretty vigilant about having the pit be a good time
From what I’ve been reading, this happens a lot but even at huge concerts it’s handled better than this. There’s a video going around from an Adele concert that supposedly had more people in attendance than the Travis Scott concert. She saw a girl in the back of the venue who fainted and stopped everything until the paramedics got her out. I saw tons of videos posted on Twitter in response to his apology of situations exactly like this one that were handled with zero problems. People were posting everything from Kurt Cobain calling out a pervert to Avenged Sevenfold shutting down a crowd that looked to be the same size as the one at Astroworld.
I find it had to believe Travis didn’t know what was going on, especially when there’s a video of two security guys going on stage and allegedly telling him what’s happening and he kept the concert going. But I will say nobody knows what they actually said to him so who knows. There’s also video of him that looks like he’s looking right at someone on the floor and he doesn’t stop but I’m not sure what was really going on there either.
I’ll also add that there’s a video going around of Travis shutting down his set at a huge festival a few years ago because some kid allegedly tried to steal his shoe. Not only did he stop everything immediately, but he told grown ass men to beat the kid up. Some people said that the kid was only 14 and the guys around him beat his ass pretty bad. Can’t confirm that part but him stopping the music, calling the kid out and telling his fans to go after him are all on video. So he can stop his show over a shoe but they can’t do it when people are screaming that someone’s dead? Shit ain’t adding up.
On top of ALL that, he deleted tweets that encouraged his fans to act like this at his shows and he already got in trouble for something similar to this (but not fatal) a few years ago. He told his fans to jump the barricades outside of this festival and there are videos of hundreds of people absolutely stampeding past security. They overwhelmed the people at the gate and ran past cops on horses. Complete insanity.
So many people fucked up here from the fans to security to Travis Scott himself. It will be very interesting to see who is ultimately held accountable for what happened, if anyone faces consequences at all.
