I'm not a lawyer or anything but I think directed verdict means judge is just like "Ay yo dawg this is kinda bullshit he's innocent"
Nor am I, just wondering why those charges would even go to the jury at this point for a directed verdict. Why not motion to dismiss as a matter of law? No guarantee it'd be granted, of course. The judge is VERY cautious about how all this looks to the outside world and has been very circumspect about not allowing the appearance of any false steps or malfeasance.

In our defense, no one expected Gaige to be this exceptionally exceptional.
Grosskreutz might be a new lolcow, I think he’s definitely got what he needs to get to that level. His fear of internet people and insane reaction to them make it likely he’s going to get his own troll community soon (likely from pol) and have his own thread here.

Rittenhouse right now

Hate to burst your guys's bubbles, but this is exactly how we were acting during the Chauvin trial. He's gonna be guilty of at least something. (((They))) always have a plan.
We also suspected the jury would vote out of fear.

If he's innocent there's precedent for lethally defending yourself vs attackers.

It'd be stupid to not vote innocent if they were voting out of personal interest.

Chauvin's defense was nowhere near this tight. They were fighting horrible optics with technicalities. One of Rittenhouse's alleged victims admitted to violently confronting Rittenhouse before being shot.
