Which was a lie. The ex-jarhead from the other day found the gun with a round in the chamber. Later in cross Agent 47 got him to admit he had one in the chamber ready to fire.

What would it even matter (To Kyle/the defence) whether Grosskreutz had one in the chamber or not, anyway? Kyle couldn't have known.

The pistol could have been entirely unloaded for all the difference it should make. (To Kyle. Obviously Grosskreutz would have been a braindead moron for carrying a weapon in such a condition... and is even more exceptional for having lied about doing so.)

Hate to burst your guys's bubbles, but this is exactly how we were acting during the Chauvin trial. He's gonna be guilty of at least something. (((They))) always have a plan.
I mean, I can see guilty on the curfew (lol) charge and the minor in possession charge, though I've heard good arguments against the latter.

I can't see him convicted of anything assault or homicide related.

I'm still catching up because I had to pause a few times at work for meetings, Just finished listening to the Chirafisi destroy Gaige worse than Kyle did his bicep.

If he lies about a tool that his life could rely on, what else could he be lying about?

No they won't. They won't watch the trial, and will read the blurb on NYT about how Kyle Rittenhouse was convicted and from that conclude he was guilty.

Look at the Pros's body language. They had a hand in the jury selection. Would they look that mortified if they had stacked the deck?

Oh, I misunderstood. I was under the impression that this was being used by the prosecution in some way to make Kyle look less "justified" in vaporizing Grosskreutz' arm. The defence brought up the discrepancy? I only tuned in today when they were asking Grossarm about the footage of him pointing his pistol at Kyle.
