Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Cannot use the quote function but 1. I believe Eva had an aneurysm or something before falling out of the cart. They've never clarified but I believe her "injury" was before the fall, not after— it's what caused her to fall out. She's the one that depresses me the most because she was a totally normal child before that, even if her family is a bunch of fundie creeps.

2. Are we sure Team Mali's mom isn't a tard baby in her own right? Just an unfortunate woman all around

Tbh anyuerism or not sometimes you just got shit luck and take a fall the wrong way. Back when i lived up north, every year you'd read a few deaths in the paper where someone, perfectly healthy was walking to their car, slipped on the pavement, and that was that, dead on the spot.

Is she still alive? I was trying to look up their IG and couldn’t get it on search in the thread

Right, I'm just saying the brain injury preceded the fall, not the other way around

All of this feels like it is a human version of the phenomenon where apes will carry and take care of their babies, even after they have died.

That poor creature. Imagine that kind of loss and no language or mind to even process your own pain. Probably one of the most heartbreaking and dark things on this thread.

I think some of it is essentially that, parents consumed by grief to the point of doing irrational things. Apes, including humans, are social creatures hardwired care about their babies. While not everyone gets that wiring, its still obviously a powerful thing if you have it.

Gorillas are actually pretty complex and intelligent, and we're still learning about all the intricacies of their language and communication with each other. I think they do have at least basic ways to understand and grieve, but like humans it takes time and they probably need a strong support network (i.e. the rest of their troop).

Still absolutely heartbreaking to see though :(

A cat or a dog probably has more comprehension of what is going on on the TV than the baby.
I never understood why she puts this literal potato in front of the tv and waits to get a good shot of where her eyes finally darted towards the e tv to make it seem like she’s actually watching it. Afaik paisley is basically scrambled egg for brains?

And of her mother refusing to fight for services or even try on her own. Paisley cannot voluntarily move her limbs because no one has ever done the things required to help her gain strength to.

Paisley is only two? I thought she was a teenager, although I might've mixed her up with Claire.

So first of all, why does her tongue start out normal then turn absolutely purple the more she thrashes about? Second of all what the hell is so funny about this? She looks horrific, her tongue is clearly not getting blood flow, she’s making some weird ass sound over and over and thrashing her huge deformed dwarf head back and forth. I couldn’t find anything funny about this if I tried to, unless were laughing because it’s better than crying, or abandoning the hideous decaying thing at the hospital.

Bruh it even sounds like its in distress :( and after only a bit of movement starts running out of oxygen. Like no shit your doctors said she needed more oxygen than you giving at home if this is fucking happening.

Her brain is probably mostly mash due to anoxic events her mother likely has ignored repeatedly (such as this one, but worse).

No. She has a fatal form of dwarfism. She probably has a little bit of an anoxic brain injury just from respiratory distress that's almost always a consequence from mechanical ventilation, but she isn't a potato/nonresponsive/brain dead.

I had to laugh at this because I remember the "sassy teen" thing when Claire probably had limited brain activity.

The noises and cyanosis make me think she needs a good deep suction. She shouldn't make noise with the trash and probably needs to have it cleared out.

Her brain isn't complete mash, just from watching her, and that's worse. And probably part of the problem is the mom probably wants to crank the oxygen/rate/pressure up so she doesn't have to hear any alarms. If her goal is to extend the little girl's life, she's wrong and doesn't know best. The best thing for Paisley is to keep her comfortable. It might immediately do the trick, but will make her acidotic.

Agreed. Not total potato mash but not totally fine either. Laying on your back 24/7 with whatever stimuli mummy dearest remembers to throw your way can't be good for development either. And the noted lack of PT.

OK, I’ve found the Tiktok account where the Mom parades what looks to be a baby with issues but doesn’t talk about them. Just says “She looks just like her dad!”

It’s hard to convey in a screenshot, but this kid looks oddly stiff and unresponsive, obsessively mouths her hands in every single video, has really low set ears and small looking eyes. Thoughts?

Arent there a few cases of that form of dwarfism that have normal intelligence, but most are tards who die very young? Given her age and severe mobility issues I wouldnt say she's a tard for sure yet, but her mlm shill mom probably isnt helping her chances.
With her age, her deafness and lack of them using her hearing aid its impossible really to know her intelligence, but yes that form of dwarfism does not require you to be a potatoe.

Most people with dwarfism have normal intelligence, but shorter lifespans.

Some types of dwarfism are associated with intellectual disabilities, like hypothyroidism in childhood, Noonan syndrome, and Turner syndrome. However, the people asserting Paisley is braindead have no idea what they're talking about.

Hypothyroidism I think is quite treatable if you catch it at the PKU screening?

Noonan and Turner are more like "maybe special classes to get extra help in school"-type intellectual disability, not "unable to think or react other than basic reflexes."
