You think that you can fix the American economy with a magic wand by telling people where to live? You're promoting Capitalism but fail to recognize its inherent flaw: some are going to earn less than others to make Capitalism work. What happens then when those people earn less? They require goverment assistance to close the gap.
So it's futile to try to tell someone "just move here or there". Your Capitalism is inherently flawed and there will ALWAYS be people at the bottom rung who have to bridge the gap with government assistance. Don't like it? Write Congress. You're complaining to the wrong person. I'm a Socialist. And if I would have a magic wand to fix the system every billionaire would be required to give 75% of their liquid assets to society. Middle class would only pay for what they use (public schools, FCC, USDA, etc). Then let's see how man "have nots" there would be.
Until Socialism comes to fix America, expect your flawed Capitalism to create pockets of low income regions all over. Capitalism is not a perfect system. SW VA has one of the highest concentration of people receiving government assistance in the nation.
Also, newsflash: MILLIONAIRES and BILLIONAIRES declare bankruptcy, so filing bankruptcy happens for people of all income brackets. Doesn't mean you're in poverty.
The same with collecting goverment assistance and getting an IFP form approved for a Court. You can be middle class and low income and NOT below the FPL and still get an IFP form approved and goverment assistance because the threshold for assistance is RATIO of people to income, NOT flat rates. So again, you're incorrect on that count.
You're also incorrect that 1000s of homeschooling families don't live in low income households. Lots of them do. It's basic economics, one income is going to be less than 2 incomes (in most situations).
I don't know what you're talking about with regards to not being able to find housing, I've made sure there was a roof over my children's heads for 15 years. If that was by Socialism, Capitalism or the Charity of fellow Israelites, is irrelevant. Elohim doesn't care where your roof comes from. Hech, Elohim doesn't even care if you live in a tent.
The idea of raising a family in a tent shocks the modern American mind. But apparently running around in a bra and underwear on the streets is just "normal". Hm, interesting.

You were the one who said you can't support yourself on Marshall's income because incomes are low in your part of Virginia. I'm sure lots of people have good reasons not to move. They have jobs, or family, or community. You don't. So why stay somewhere so economically depressed? Is the weather particularly good there?
A person cannot be a millionaire or a billionaire (a person with a net worth of over a million dollars) and qualify for personal bankruptcy. If you have a net worth of over a million dollars, you are by definition not bankrupt because your assets exceed your debts by over a million dollars, with the possible exception of a state with an unlimited homestead exemption if you own a very expensive home. You can file a business bankruptcy but you had a personal bankruptcy.
Most home schooling families live off of one income. You don't because your children's fathers apparently don't contribute, which you think is fine, because you can just live a very very marginal life. Except for Marshall, whom you say works a 40-hour-a-week job and yet is still unable to support your family. That's too bad if your kids need anything other than that which daddy government wants to provide. But don't set it up as "I am too good a mother to work a job, and that's why I take welfare." Most homemaking mothers manage just fine by being able to pick a decent husband.

She is not very different than many of our other lolcows who want the state to give them a free and easy life to pursue their fetishes. Granted, her fetishes are not quite as bizarre as some of our cows, but the thinking is the same.

She really doesn't get that actual socialism would see her children in a government mandated school, and her put to work in a job that she may or may not choose, all to make sure that she and her family will be able to meaningfully contribute to the society that they live in. Then, and only then would she receive allowances to help her pay her bills and find housing.
