Really highlights the overall incompetence. Could be forgiven for being handed a shit case and not having much to do with it, but their cross was just appalling. I get that sleazy attack might be good at making witnesses emotional and making them trip up, but that works with certain individuals. That was by far the best bit, and probably where his autism helped him. Had he been just a normal young man, I don't think he would have shot those down as hard as he did yesterday. Might have felt the pressure of the courtroom and being asked by the people he talked about and downplayed it, or get led to by leading questions to not make it seem as bad as it was.
